North Little Rock, AR—Three Northwest Arkansas Naturals pitchers combined on a two hit shutout as they beat the Arkansas Travelers, 2-0 on Friday night. Lunider Avila worked the first six innings on only 70 pitches and earned the win. Both Arkansas hits were inning starting doubles but they could not cash either one. Logan Evans pitched well (5.2 IP, 2 R, 6 K) but was saddled with the loss.

Moments That Mattered

* Down a run, Tyler Locklear doubled to open the bottom of the fourth and moved to third on a ground out. Jared Oliva followed with a flyout to right field but Locklear was thrown out at the plate to end the inning.

* The Naturals tacked on runs in the sixth inning with a solo homer and in the ninth with a two out RBI hit.
