SECOND SERVINGS: With two outs in the second the IronBirds got it going.
NO DOUBTER: Robert Nuestrom saw his second at bat in the third inning. He clobbered a ball with 105 MPH exit velocity over the right field wall to extend Aberdeen's lead to 4-2.
QUALI-JIMMY: Jimmy Murphy earned a quality start through six innings. He struggled a little with command early but bounced back with five scoreless after the first.
CALL IT A COMEBACK: In the 8th, the Cyclones picked up the two runs they needed. Tyler Joyner gave up four hits and a walk in the frame including RBIs from Brian Sharp and
FREE BASEBALL: Neither team scored in the 9th so it came down to the 10th. In the top half Nuestrom moved Escarra over from second to third on a groundout. Escarra scored on a wild pitch to take a lead into the bottom of the 10th.
FIREWORKS (literally): Ryan Conroy came in to get the save. On Coney Island, fireworks start at 10 P.M. no matter what. So during the inning there were fireworks just over the wall in center.
