Isotopes Victorious in Morning Matinee in Memphis
The Isotopes (20-18) recorded nine hits while Jeff Hoffman allowed just one en route to a 6-3 win over the Memphis Redbirds (25-14) on Tuesday morning.

Hoffman earned his third win of the season, surrendering just one run on one hit over five innings on the mound. The 24-year-old struck out four but did issue four walks and hit three opposing batters. It was Hoffman's first appearance since earning his first Major League win with the Rockies last Tuesday.
Six of the eight Isotopes starting position players recorded hits in the matinee, with
Brown led the way at the plate, finishing 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. It was Brown's first home run as an Isotope and first since August 4, 2016 when he was a member of the International League's Buffalo Bisons.
