A

ADA Seating: ADA seating is available all throughout our 360 degree concourse, the Pepsi Party Deck and Fairly Group Club Level, and in our dugout suites behind home plate. If a fan purchases an ADA seat, but needs a folding chair, they may ask the nearest usher for assistance.

Alcohol: Please note that in order to purchase alcohol at HODGETOWN, fans will need to receive a wristband at an ID station located at the rotunda or left field entrances. HODGETOWN reserves the right to confiscate any alcohol seen being drank by a fan without a wristband.

Animals: HODGETOWN welcomes all service animals to the ballpark utilized by our guests with disabilities. We will also host multiple Bark in the Park nights each season. YIP!!!

ATM: There are two different ATMs inside the ballpark. Happy State Bank is located on the 1st base side of the concourse next to the drinking fountains, and ANB is located next to Feed and Seed concession on the 3rd base side of the concourse.

Autographs: Guests may ask players and team personnel for autographs before or after any game. Guests are not to ask for autographs during the game as players can be fined if caught signing in-game. Players do not have to sign, and will at their own leisure. Fans are not permitted to wait in the tunnel for autographs.

Bags & Purses: To provide a safer environment for the public, and significantly expedite guest entry into HODGETOWN, our clear bag policy states:

  • Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC.
  • Prohibited bags include but are not limited to: non-clear purses, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, non-approved seat cushions or seatbacks, computer bags, diaper bags, binocular cases, and camera bags.
  • Diapers and other baby supplies can be carried in a clear bag. Each member of a family, including children, would be allowed to carry an approved clear bag and a clutch purse into the venue.

Ball in Play: Any guest caught interfering with a ball in play, throwing objects onto the field/seating bowl, or going onto the playing field, will be ejected from the ballpark and is subject to possible arrest and/or banishment from HODGETOWN.

Batting Cages: Home and away batting cages are located on the 3rd base side of the concourse. They can be viewed from the sidewalk outside the ballpark, as well as inside the ballpark from the concourse. No one is permitted inside the batting cages at any time.

Broadcast Partners: The voice of the Amarillo Sod Poodles are Chris & Stefan Cara, great-grandsons of Hall of Fame broadcaster Harry Caray and sons of current MLB broadcaster Chip Caray (St. Louis Cardinals). Alpha Media USA's 102.9 FM Panhandle Sports Star is the flagship station and the official radio home of Amarillo Sod Poodles baseball games. All 138 Amarillo Sod Poodles will be broadcast live on . Panhandle Sports Star. Sod Poodles games will also be streamed live over the internet with Listen Live links available on SodPoodles.com and station website www.panhandlesportsstar.com.

Camera/Video Equipment: Professional photography and videography is not permitted in HODGETOWN unless it is cleared through our Public Relations Department. If you are a media member, or anyone in need of gaining credentials, please call our PR Department at (806) 803-9614 or by visiting HERE.

Changing Tables: Baby changing tables are located in all men's and women's restrooms on the concourse level and the women's restroom on The Fairly Group Club Level.

Club Level: During games, The Fairly Group Club Level can be accessed using the elevator and/or staircase located behind home plate, or the staircase on the 1st base side. It is open to Club Seat Season Ticket Holders, suite occupants, and other groups permitted through the Sod Poodles Ticketing Department. If you are a season seat member that is interested in finding out ways to receive club level access, please contact your account representative.

Concessions: HODGETOWN has four main concession stands: Barnyard, Panhandle Pizza, Feed and Seed, Route 66 Grill. Food and beer portables can also be found throughout the concourse. Some of the specialty items available include specialty hot dogs at Diggity Dog Grill, a nacho helmet full of chips, cheese, and other toppings from Nacho Libre, and Dip N Dots and frozen ice over by our Northwest Children's Hospital Kid's Corral.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols: HODGETOWN has proactively made its best efforts to invest and keep our community safe when attending events at the ballpark. Directions: The Sod Poodles are in downtown Amarillo located next door neighbors to City Hall. HODGETOWN's address is 715 S Buchanan St, Amarillo, TX 79101.

Donation Requests: We take pride in our support of nonprofit organizations and schools both locally and across the country. All donation requests will be reviewed within two weeks. The organization requesting the donation will be contacted by email, regardless of whether or not the request is approved. https://amarilloprobaseball.approveforgood.com/

Dugouts: The Sod Poodles dugout is located on the 3rd base side of the field. The visiting team's dugout is located on the 1st base side.

Elevators: There is one elevator behind Home Plate located in the glass case. The elevator will take fans up to the Fairly Group Club Level and down to the dugout suites. Fans must present a ticket to these corresponding areas to the elevator usher.

Employment: Anyone interested in working for the Sod Poodles can pick up an application from our Executive Offices located at 715 S Buchanan St, Amarillo, TX 79101. Applications can also be filled out online using the link https://www.milb.com/amarillo/forms/apply. The Sod Poodles take applications all year round, but will hire on an as necessary basis. Applying does not guarantee employment.

Entrance Gates: Entry Gates are located in the Home Plate Rotunda (southwest corner) and left field corner (northwest corner). The Season Ticket Holder Gate, located at the left field gate, opens 30 minutes before all the other gates, unless otherwise noted on our website and social media pages.

Family Restrooms: Located to the left of Panhandle Pizza concession stand behind home plate.

Fan Mail: Letters to Sod Poodles players or mascot should be addressed to the intended party and mailed to: 715 S Buchanan St, Amarillo, TX 79101.

Field Dimensions: Left-field line 325', left-field alley: 352', center-field: 405', right-center field: 411', right-field alley: 352', right-field line: 325'.

First Aid: If you are in need of medical assistance, please contact the nearest Sod Poodle employee, or you can find assistance at the First Aid Room located next to the Barnyard concession stand behind 1st base.

Foul Balls: Please be alert of foul balls and other "debris" that may come into the seating area from the playing field. All fans are subject to the possibility of being hit by a flying object from the field. These objects are traveling at fast speeds and may be very dangerous. Please keep any foul ball you catch as a souvenir. Immediately report any injuries to the nearest Sod Poodle staff member. The Sod Poodles are not responsible for any fan being hit by a foul ball or other debris.

Foul Language: All events are to be family-friendly, and as a result, all abusive and foul language is prohibited at the ballpark. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in ejection from HODGETOWN.

Fundraising:

  • Charity Spotlight: The Amarillo Sod Poodles are proud to showcase local Amarillo and Texas Panhandle charities throughout the 2021 season at HODGETOWN, known as the "Charity Spotlight".** In honor of the hard work charities put in the local community, the Sod Poodles will provide these organizations with an opportunity to market themselves and raise awareness for their causes at HODGETOWN during the 2021 season and FREE of charge.   • Concessions: Diamond Creations, the Amarillo Sod Poodles' food and beverage provider, is happy to provide a fundraising opportunity for organizations by working concession stands at HODGETOWN.

Non-profit or 501(c)(3) groups, sporting clubs, cheer groups, girl and boy scout troops to church and school organizations are welcome to join. To fundraise, groups provide individuals to work in a concession stand, food and beverage at a cart, or sell items throughout the stadium crowd and in turn, the group earns money for their organization. Groups are not limited on how many games they work throughout the 70 home-game season. All dates will be filled on a first come, first served basis.   • Fundraising Tickets: Non-profit organizations have the opportunity to fundraise with the Amarillo Sod Poodles! Gates Open: Gates will open an hour and five minutes before each game time. Full-Season Ticket Members enter an additional 30 minutes early at the Season Ticket Holder gate located at the left field entry way. Open Gate times are subject to change based on giveaways or other Sod Poodle promotions. Please visit our website and social media pages for any and all updates.

  • On-Field Performances: Have the ability for your club, organization, school, or church to perform on the field during an Amarillo Sod Poodles game. Opportunities include singing the National Anthem, God Bless America, or specialty pre-game performances (dance, karate, gymnastics).
  • Jr. Soddies: Create lifelong memories for your child with the Jr. Soddies! This unique package includes the ability for 15 Little League players to take the field with the Sod Poodles players during the National Anthem. This package also includes recognition as "Little League Team of the Game", a picture of your players and coaches on the field, and every Jr. Soddie will receive an autographed baseball.
  • Birthdays: Celebrate your Birthday at the Ballpark! (*Party for Kids 12 & Under).

  • Luxury Suites: Host 20 of your closest friends, family, colleagues, or clients in one of our private and climate-controlled suites. Overlook the game with VIP balcony seating and indulge on a fully catered meal along with a private server with a breathtaking view of the entire ballpark.
  • Dugout Suites: Host a party of 16 in one of the most unique hospitality sections of the ballpark - our field-level dugout suites! Enjoy a catered meal with a private server, have access to the club level throughout the game, utilize 32 beer/wine vouchers, and make sure to watch out for foul balls as you are only 30 feet from the next Hall-of-Famer!
  • Concourse Suites: Host up to 25 guests in one of our open-air concourse suites at the ballpark! This package includes a ticket for each guest and comes with a fully catered meal with non-alcoholic beverages! Your suite will also be provided a private server throughout the entire game exclusively for your area only!
  • Party Deck: The Party Deck is an exclusive area that can hold 50-70 people. This package includes The Fairly Group Club Level access, catered meals as well as a private server and bar! This area will have covered table-top and lounge-style seating to allow for easy conversation all while enjoying spectacular views of the ballpark!
  • Left Field Group Patio: Accommodate groups of 20 up to 232 on our left field group patio! Enjoy a four-top style group seating area conducive for large group interaction with terrific views from left field! Your group will receive a full catered meal with non-alcoholic beverages for 90 minutes beginning at gate opening and it's conveniently located near the left-field entrance!
  • Right Field Group Patio: Accommodate groups of 20 up to 140 on our right field group patio! Enjoy a four-top style group seating area conducive for large group interaction with breathtaking views of the game with the downtown cityscape in the distance. Your group will receive a full catered meal with non-alcoholic beverages for 90 minutes beginning at gate opening and it's conveniently located near the Kid's Zone!
  • Outfield Overlook: The Outfield Overlook is a new experience for 2021! This is the only group area where guests have a chance to catch a home run! This hospitality area in center field hosts 36 fans with panoramic views of the ballpark!
  • Group Tickets: Group Tickets can accommodate groups of 20+ people and includes group recognition on the video board. Groups also have the ability to purchase additional concession and merchandise items at discounted prices. It's one of the most affordable seating options in the entire ballpark! *minimum of 20 tickets required to qualify for group pricing*

Handicap Seating: Handicap seating is available at the top of each section of the seating bowl. A companion chair is available upon request. Please see the Ticketing Office for more information.

HODGETOWN Bucks: HODGETOWN Bucks can be purchased and used throughout the ballpark. These are $5 pieces of money that can be used anywhere throughout the ballpark (concession stands, merchandise, Kids Zone, etc.). No change is given for the remainder unused.

I

Ice Cream and Snow Cones: A Dip N Dots and snow cone portable is located outside of the kids play area on the 1st base side of the concourse. Hard ice cream and sundaes are available at the Feed & Seed Concession stand on the third base side near the homeplate rotunda entrance.

Jungle Gym: There is a free for play jungle gym located on the 1st base side of the concourse. It includes two slides, a spiral climbing pole, and many other fun pieces for the kids to enjoy.

K

Kids Zone: Located in right-field, the Northwest Children's Hospital Kids Corral features a jungle gym and inflatables such as speed pitch, bounce house, and slide. All you can play wristbands are available for $5, as well as single ride tickets for $1 during each game, weather permitting. Sales end at the 7th inning stretch, and the rides shut down at the end of the 7th inning. Closing times are also subject to weather conditions.

Lawn Seating: This is the grass hill located in right field. Fans must have a berm ticket to sit on the berm and chairs with legs are prohibited from being in this seating area. Blankets may be brought into this area to sit on. Please be aware, in order to sit in lawn seating, you must have a ticket that says Lawn. SRO seats do not allow access to the lawn.

Lost & Found: During the game any found items will be taken to the Fan Center located on the concourse level behind home plate. To claim a lost item, visit the Fan Center or call the Sod Poodles at 806-803-7762.

Lost Children: Parents should contact the nearest Sod Poodle employee if their child goes missing. All children missing their parents will be taken to the Fan Center until their parents are found.

Major League Affiliation: The Amarillo Sod Poodles are the Double-A Affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks .

Mascot: RUCKUS the Sod Poodle, the official team mascot of the Amarillo Sod Poodles, is excited to make HODGETOWN in downtown Amarillo his new home and have fun with the biggest and best coterie of fans in baseball.

Merchandise: The Amarillo Sod Poodles Official Store is located at 715 S. Buchanan St. Amarillo, TX, 79101. All local pick-up orders will pick up their order, once an Amarillo Sod Poodles staff member has notified you that your order is ready, at the gift shop. No Shoes, No Shirt…No Problem?: Fans must be fully clothed at all times. While in the Kid's Zone, kids will be required to remove their shoes while on the rides, but must be wearing them when walking around the ballpark.

Noise Makers: Noisemakers, cowbells, air horns (natural), drums, and all items that make a noise are allowed in the ballpark. However, their use, frequency, and location are at the discretion of management. If there are complaints about these items being used, their use should be stopped. If necessary, the item may be checked into the Guest Relations, behind section 105 on the concourse, until the end of the game.

Outside Food and Beverage: Fans are not permitted to enter HODGETOWN with outside food or beverage of any kind. Containers such as picnic baskets, coolers or ice chests are not permitted. You are allowed to bring bottled water if the label is removed and the bottle is unopened. HODGETOWN security reserves the right to inspect any package or container coming into the ballpark.

Other Events: HODGETOWN was built as a Multi-Purpose Event Venue (MPEV), and therefore will host other events than baseball games. These events may include corporate meetings, weddings, concerts, holiday parties, and more. For more information, contact our Groups Department at (806) 803-7762.

Parking: The Amarillo Sod Poodles provide all fans the option to park in three different team-controlled paid lots on a nightly basis 90 minutes before first pitch for Sod Poodles home games.

Prohibited Items: For your safety the following items are prohibited from entering HODGETOWN:

  • No weapons of any sort (guns, knives, etc.)
  • No Cans, Glass Bottles, Alcoholic beverages, or Hard Sided Coolers
  • Food and Beverage of any kind, unless special permission has been granted ahead of time
  • Folding or lawn chairs

Q

Questions: If a fan ever has a question during an event, there is a Fan Services area near the Homeplate rotunda. In addition, we have several full-time staff members walking around that will be able to assist you!

R

Rained Out Games: If a game is postponed or cancelled in the event of inclement weather, your ticket stub will serve as a raincheck to any future regular season game during the current season, subject to availability. Tickets must be redeemed in person at the Box Office. Please pay attention to the team's website and social media for further information in these instances.

Restrooms: Concourse level restrooms are located by the 1st base stairwell, in between Feed and Seed concession stand and batting cages, and next to the left field entry gate. Club level restrooms are located between the elevator and Suite 209. Ground level restrooms are located in the tunnel between the Visiting and Auxilary locker rooms.

Re-Entry: In order to leave HODGETOWN while the game is going on, in hopes of returning to the ballpark, all fans must have their hands stamped upon exiting. Fans without their hands stamped will not be permitted back into the ballpark. Please note that on giveaway days, exiting the ballpark is not permitted until all giveaways have been given out.

Smoking: Smoking (including e-cigarettes and vaping) is prohibited throughout HODGETOWN. There are smoking areas set up outside of both home and left-field gates for the convenience of smokers.

Standing Room Only (SRO): Fans with a Standing Room Only (SRO) tickets do not have a reserved seating area. SRO ticket holders my stand along the drink railings positioned all around the ballpark. There is limited seating available with SRO tickets at Bar 352.

Season Tickets: Save up to 45% on the gate price for every game by becoming an Amarillo Sod Poodles Season Ticket Member. Season ticket member benefits include priority seating, invitation to exclusive events, same great view for every game, as well as a personal service representative. Sod Poodles season tickets can be emailed to friends, family members, or co-workers, and unused tickets can be donated or exchanged for a later Sunday through Thursday right field berm or standing room only ticket (July 4 excluded). Sod Pup Club: The "Sod Pups Club" presented by Children's Dentistry of Amarillo and FASTBRACES is an exclusive club that provides a season of fun for children 12 and under. For more information or questions on the Sod Pups Club, call the office at 806-803-7762 or email [email protected].

Strollers: Strollers are permitted inside the stadium gates but must be closed and stored at the top of sections in the seating bowl and the lawn.

Trespassing: Anyone trespassing on the playing field will be ejected and subject to arrest and prosecution in accordance with city and county law.

Ticket Age Requirements: All guests 2 years and younger may receive entry into HODGETOWN without a ticket. Please note that these toddlers must sit on a parents lap and will not receive a physical seat. If you do want your child to have his/her own seat, we suggest buying a child ticket. Child tickets allow $2 off admission and are available for fans 12 and under.

Ticket Office: Main box office is located at 715 S. Buchanan St. Amarillo, TX, 79101. There is also an auxiliary box office open on gamedays near the Homeplate rotunda.

Tours: All tours of the stadium should be made in advance by calling the office at 806-803-7762. Please note that stadium tours are not open to the public.

Umbrellas: Umbrellas are permitted inside of the stadium, but are not to be used or open in any seating area as they create an obstructed view for other guests, and can create a danger with foul balls flying into the stands.

Videoboard: HodgeVision is located beyond the left field wall and stands at 35' tall by 60' wide and includes 696,320 total pixels. Spanning the entire length of the left-field wall, an extensive LED video board measuring 218' by 6' tall, with 449,792 total pixels, will also enhance the fan experience displaying stats and feature engaging content as well as providing a great space for local businesses to showcase their products and services.

Videoboard Message: In order to purchase a videoboard message, you will need to visit www.milb.com/amarillo/forms/videoboard-message if you run into any problems or have any questions please reach out to Austin Jackson at [email protected]. There is a $10 fee for all videoboard messages, and depending on the message, other fees may apply. These messages are based on availability and must be done 24 hours in advance paid to the box office. Please note, no pictures can be put on the videoboard.

Water Fountains: There are a total of twelve (12) water fountains located throughout HODGETOWN. There are two (2) upstairs in The Fairly Group Club Level between both the men's and women's restrooms, two (2) downstairs in the player and dugout suite level hallways outside of the Visitor's Locker Room, and eight (8) on the 1st base side of the concourse between The Barnyard and Feed and Seed concession stands.

Will Call: Will Call is located at the Auxiliary Box Office near the Home Plate Rotunda Entrance at the corner of 8th Street and Lincoln. Will Call hours are during games only.
