Player of the Year:
Ball, 21, played 41 games in the Appalachian League this season, batting .324, with 13 HRs, 25 total extra-base hits, and 38 RBI. He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 24th Round of the 2019 MLB Draft out of Dallas Baptist University. On August 12, Ball was promoted to Class-A South Atlantic League (Rome)
Pitcher of the Year:
Stallings, 24, pitched 56 innings in the Appalachian League this season, winning 3 games with an ERA of 2.25, a WHIP of 1.143, and struck out 69 batters. He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 30th Round of the 2018 MLB Draft out of Duke University. On August 18, Stallings was also promoted to Class-A South Atlantic League (Rome).
Manager of the Year: Luis Dorante, Pulaski Yankees
Dorante guided the Yankees to a record of 40-22 as of August 23 and 1st place in the Appalachian League East. Luis Dorante is in his eighth season in the Yankees' organization and second at the helm of the Pulaski Yankees. This is his second Appalachian League Manager of the Year award, his first coming in 2017.
