BELOIT– An enthusiastic throng of fans gathered for the final Thirsty Thursday of the season at ABC Supply Stadium.
As the sun continued to set on another baseball season in Beloit, the fans answered every ‘Woo’ call from the PA system, cheered the fierce competitors in the Condiment Race, and sang heartily along to the seventh inning stretch.
Indeed, a good time was had by all, including the many college students that took advantage of the Sky Carp’s College Night discount.
The action on the field wasn’t as pleasing to the home fans, as the Sky Carp fell 5-0 to Wisconsin. Beloit was held to just two hits on the evening.
The Sky Carp will be in action just three more times for the rest of the season. On Friday night, the first 1,000 fans will get a Sky Carp beach towel, courtesy of our good friends at Campbell’s Snacks.
Saturday night will feature a fantastic post-game fireworks display! It’s also Season Ticket Member Appreciation, in which the Sky Carp will celebrate our most important asset!
The season will conclude with the final Sunday Family Funday of the season! Fans 12 and under can run the bases following the game. Fans shouldn’t forget their gloves, because after the base race, families can gather in the outfield and play catch.
For all remaining games, fans can donate a non-perishable food item OR a school supply to get a voucher for a reserved ticket in the 2024 season!
Tickets for all remaining games can be found at SkyCarp.com.
