What To Expect:

SkyShow is the largest July 4th fireworks show in the Southeast. From the spectacular sparkling sights to the patriotic music, it's the obvious choice to celebrate America's birthday!

Why Is It Special?

This is the tenth time since opening Truist Field in 2014 that the WBT SkyShow is happening. It's a staple of Independence Day in Charlotte. Hence why it always draws such a big crowd. Every detail of the show is curated to perfection, and each year the envelope is pushed to bring you something even more exciting.

Okay... But What Else Besides Fireworks?

A lot. The 208th Army Band will be in attendance as soon as gates open to play patriotic melodies throughout the night. We also will be giving away American flags to fans, and it's Military Appreciation Night presented by Titos.

Nope! But we do listen to you all! SkyShow always draws a huge crowd and always leaves people wanting more. So, that's where UPTOWN BOOM! comes in. Skip the hustle and bustle of the 4th, join us on July 5th and still enjoy a fireworks show thats bigger and brighter than what you'd typically see at Truist Field.

Why Would I Go To This Instead Of SkyShow?

You're still getting the Independence Day Weekend fireworks fun but you're missing out on the crowds. Also, why wouldn't you extend 4th of July celebrations? Luckily in 2024, you've got a whole weekend to do it!

DJ Carolina X is coming out to help us start the party, we're doing an in-game concert tickets giveaway with WSOC, another American flag giveaway, and once again it's Military Appreciation Night presented by Titos. Plus, Knights players will sign autographs when gates open.

What Makes This Game Worth It?

It's always such a bummer when a holiday ends, so our goal is to keep it going as long as possible. Once again, we will shoot off post-game fireworks, but what you also get with a ticket to Saturday's game is a chance to play pre-game catch on the field. Pretty cool, right?

Players will sign autographs when gates open, too. Also, it's our final Military Appreciation Game of the weekend presented by Titos.

Will It Still Be Patriotic?

Of course! We're celebrating July 4th all weekend. 🇺🇸
