SKY SOX RELEASE PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE FOR 2018 SEASON

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Colorado Springs Sky Sox, Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, released their promotions and event schedule today with a wide variety of exciting events set for the 2018 season. Eighteen fireworks shows, sixteen fan giveaways and numerous theme nights are sprinkled throughout the Sky Sox 70-game home schedule.
Headlining the 2018 Sky Sox season will be a season-long promotion dubbed "Cheers to 45 More Years", designed to pay tribute and share with fans about baseball's amazing history in Colorado Springs from the early days of the 1900's to today and celebrate the future of professional baseball in the Springs. On select dates each month, the 2018 Sky Sox will wear uniforms of each team era. To add to the theme, the Sky Sox will highlight historical facts, themed music, encourage fans to wear period clothing, and much more.

The 2018 Sky Sox season begins April 5 against the Omaha Storm Chasers. The home opener is scheduled for April 10 against the New Orleans Baby Cakes when Colorado Springs will open up as the Millionaires for the first time in over a century.
