COLUMBUS, OH - The ten-time Governors' Champion Columbus Clippers are pleased to announce the 2018 field staff which will be led for a Clippers record sixth consecutive season by Manager Chris Tremie. He is just the 3rd man to manage the Clippers in 6 different seasons.

Tremie enters his 13th season in the Indians organization, all as a manager. He guided Double-A Akron to the Eastern League Championship in 2012 before joining the Clippers in 2013. The Houston, TX native has led the Clippers to the playoffs in three of his five years at the helm and a Governors' Cup in 2015. He has a combined record of 386-332 with Columbus. His .538 winning percentage ranks 8th all-time for Clippers manager.
Steve Karsay will once again tend to the pitching staff in his 3rd season in Columbus as pitching coach. Karsay led a staff that finished with a 4.33 ERA and boasted two 10-game winners (Shawn Morimando & Ryan Merritt). Chad Wolfe is back as the Clippers trainer and Scott Nealon returns as Strength and Conditioning Coach. Johnny Narron and Bobby Magallanes, join the Clippers staff as hitting coach and bench coach, respectively.
Narron comes to Columbus from Akron, where he was the Rubber Ducks hitting coach. Magallanes has coached in the Indians system for the last three seasons, with Lynchburg in 2015 and the AZL Indians 2016 & 2017. He previously managed teams in the Angels and White Sox systems and coached the Mexican National team.
Clippers President and General Manager Ken Schnacke said, "We are thrilled that Chris Tremie is returning for a sixth season as our skipper, the longest consecutive tenure for any Clippers manager. We also welcome back Steve Karsay for his 3rd season, as well as Chad Wolfe and Scott Nealon. We extend a Clippers welcome to new bench coach Bobby Magallanes and hitting coach Johnny Narron who replaces long-time hitting coach Rouglas Odor."
