KRIS6 and the Corpus Christi Hooks are teaming up in search of a special type of reporter. Throughout the season, thirteen (13) lucky kids will be chosen as a KRIS6 Hooks Kid Reporter. Each winner will have the opportunity for a one-on-one interview segment with a Hooks player. Every interview will be broadcast on a KRIS6 or Telemundo newscast.

Kid Reporter #2 - Ava Peralta
Ava sat down with outfielder Zach Daniels and asked about Zach's favorite pizza toppings, if he'd rather have Sonic or Donkey Kong as a teammate and more. The interview caps off with an intense battle of rock, paper, scissors!
Kid Reporter #3 - Cruz Deimler
Cruz quizzed Hooks infielder Chad Stevens with some hard hitting questions and ends the interview with a baseball themed joke. Chad follows up, taking the mic to put Cruz in the hot seat and interview him!
Kid Reporter #4 - McKenzie Escamilla
McKenzie and Astros top prospect Drew Gilbert cover nicknames, role models and more. We also find out who the most famous person is that follows Drew on social media. McKenzie's bonus question leads to a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Kid Reporter #5 - Benjamin Kindzirsky
Benjamin, a natural for the limelight, chose to sit down with pitcher Jonathan Sprinkle. With an ice cream shop in the family, the conversation included a question about Jonathan's interest in sprinkles with his ice cream and Benjamin even asks Jonathan for inspiration in his TikTok series, "Will It Roll?"
Kid Reporter #6 - Maximus Martinez
Max checks in with Hooks infielder Bryan Arias. We learn how long Bryan has been playing baseball, what his pre-game rituals are and we even get to see what Max & Bryan's touchdown dances would be if they played football!
Kid Reporter #7 - Annabelle Cronkhite
Annabelle and Luis Aviles Jr. chat during the final Kid Reporter segment of the 2023 season. The two converse about Luis' arrival to the team midway through the season, his favorite super hero, whether he prefers peanuts or cracker jacks and more!
