Since 2016, the Daytona Tortugas have operated the Tortugas Care Foundation, a nonprofit philanthropic organization that supports the community with a focus on local youth sports and sea turtle conservation initiatives.

The Tortugas Care Foundation supports organizations and causes throughout Volusia and Flagler counties and the Central Florida community via financial and in-kind donations as well as volunteer initiatives
