The Down East Wood Ducks hosted the Charleston River Dogs for Bark in the Park and the final game of the series. The Wood Ducks will be playing as the Collard Greens all week long. The top of the 1st started for the River Dogs with a groundout and then a double from Adrian Santana. A strikeout and a lineout left Santana on second base. The Collard Greens Started the bottom of the 1st with a ground out and then a single from Gleider Figuereo. He is left on base by two strikeouts.

In the top of the 2nd the River Dogs had one hit and a walk but left them on base. In the bottom of the 2nd Marcus Smith hit a single followed by Beycker Barroso getting hit by a pitch. They are left on base with a strikeout and a groundout into a double play. The top of the 3rd the River Dogs got one walk from Santanna, followed by two strikeouts. The Collard Greens started with a groundout followed by a lineout. Then Figuereo singles on a fly ball to second base, followed by a strikeout.

The River Dogs are three up and three down in the top of the 4th inning. The Collard Greens started the bottom of 4th with Arturo Disla getting on first base from a fielding error by the River Dogs. Marcus Smith hits a ground ball that turns into a double play. Borroso and Marcos Torres both walk, then the River Dogs have a mound visit. Chandler Pollard hits a single to right field, allowing Barroso to score the first run of the game, 0-1. The 5th and 6th inning were scoreless for both teams.

In the bottom of the 7th the Collard Greens start with a strikeout, then Torres singles to center field. Pollard singles to center field and then Torress steals third base and Pollard steals second base. Tommy Specht hits a ground ball to center field, bringing home Torres and Pollard, 0-3. The RiverDogs change pitchers as Will Stevens comes in for Dalton Fowler. Echedry Vargas hits walks, then Figuereo reaches base on a fielding error from the second baseman. A wild pitch allowed for Specht to score, 0-4.

The top of the 8th is three up and three down for the River Dogs. In the bottom of the 8th starts with a pitching change from the River Dogs as they bring in Manuel De La Rosa. Barroso walks and then steals second base, then Pollard and Specht walk to load the bases. Vargas hits a single to bring home Barroso, 0-5.

The Collard Greens won the game 5-0 with eight hits and no errors. The River Dogs had five hits and two errors.

The Collard Greens host the Charleston RiverDogs for Camp Day hosted by Lenoir Community College and game two tomorrow afternoon at Historic Grainger Stadium located in Kinston, North Carolina. First pitch is set for 12:05 pm. Gates open for season ticket holders at 11 a.m.. TJoin the Wood Ducks for a pregame concert by the Phin Addicts.
