Alan Ledford is president of MountainStar Sports Group, LLC (MSSG). He oversees all operations of MSSG, including the El Paso Chihuahuas, Triple-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres and El Paso Locomotive FC, a soccer club in the USL Championship. He also is involved with FC Juarez, a Liga MX soccer club as a result of MSSG’s minority ownership, and serves as President of Leg Up Entertainment, a division of MountainStar Sports Group.

A native of California, Mr. Ledford began his sports and entertainment career as a college student when he secured a one-year internship with the Oakland A's. That internship turned into a career and fifteen seasons with the team, culminating in his role as Vice President of Business Operations for the A's.

After his tenure with the A’s, he left the world of professional sports to start MGO, a Bay Area sports and entertainment consulting group where he served as Executive Vice President.

In his capacity with MGO, Mr. Ledford represented a private ownership group and was part of a successful effort to bring a Triple-A Baseball team to a new ballpark in Sacramento, California. He was instrumental in the launch of the Sacramento River Cats and was subsequently engaged to become President, Chief Operating Officer, and General Manager of the team. While with the River Cats, he was named the 2006 Minor League Baseball Executive of the Year by Baseball America.

Mr. Ledford’s career highlights also include the successful acquisition, turnaround, and ultimate sale of the Portland Beavers (Triple-A) and of soccer's Portland Timbers (USL).

In 2011, Mr. Ledford founded his own company, Perfect Game Ventures, LLC, a sports management and consulting firm. He served as CEO of Perfect Game Ventures until being engaged to lead MountainStar's successful efforts in 2012 to bring a Triple-A Baseball team to El Paso, build a staff and business, and construct a new ballpark downtown. In 2015, he assisted MSSG with the acquisition of a team franchise from the Mexican Futbol Federation and subsequently helped build Los Bravos, an Ascenso soccer club competing as FC Juarez. Today the team competes in Liga MX, the top tier of Mexican soccer. In 2018, Mr. Ledford guided MSSG during negotiations with the United Soccer League and was successful in establishing El Paso Locomotive FC, an El Paso-based soccer club competing in the USL Championship.

Mr. Ledford is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and holds a BS degree in Business Administration. He and his wife, Ann, have three children.

Since his arrival in the Sun City, Taylor has witnessed the groundbreaking of Southwest University Park, helped build the front office staff, and led the charge as the Chihuahuas successfully launched their brand on October 22, 2013. Under Taylor’s guidance, the Chihuahuas have become the top selling merchandise brand in Minor League Baseball (MiLB), a feat that includes the top social media ranking (more than 275K followers across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn & YouTube) out of 120 teams.

During the 2014 inaugural campaign, the Chihuahuas garnered national attention for their logo, merchandise, promotions and attendance. The Chihuahuas’ Bark at the Park Promotion was named MiLB’s Promotion of the Year (the second time in Taylor’s career; Bowling Green Hot Rods, 2009) and raised more than $20,000 for local animal groups. Southwest University Park was also named the 2014 Ballpark of the Year by Ballpark Digest and Baseballparks.com.

With the success of the Chihuahuas inaugural season, Taylor was named a Pacific Coast League Executive of the Year finalist in 2014. Taylor was again a finalist for the PCL Executive of the year award in 2017 and 2019.

Taylor has been instrumental in Southwest University Park’s success as one of El Paso’s premier venues. Since its opening, the ballpark has been home to three professional international exhibition soccer matches, IBF Featherweight Boxing, the El Paso Marathon, the 2015 Gildan Triple-A Baseball National Championship game, Way Out West Country Music Festival, the 2019 Triple-A Baseball All-Star game and Home Run Derby and the 2019 Innovator’s Summit. The ballpark has also been a venue for concerts, weddings, business conferences and expos, 5K community races, high school baseball games and company galas.

As Senior Vice President for MountainStar Sports Group, Taylor assisted in hiring the El Paso Locomotive FC front office staff, helps supervise the sales and marketing efforts, team branding and facility enhancements and improvements at Southwest University Park to accommodate USL soccer.

Taylor currently serves on the El Paso Chamber Board of Directors, the Hospitals of Providence Children’s Hospital Board of Directors, the Border Youth Athletic Association Board of Directors, the Sun Bowl Advisory Board, the Downtown Management District (DMD) Board of Directors, and the United Way Board of Directors. Taylor is also a youth league coach in the Southwest Baseball League.

Taylor received a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Randolph-Macon College (Ashland, VA), where he played baseball for four years as a second baseman, serving as team co-captain his senior year.

Entering his 28th season of professional baseball, Taylor is a native of Fairfax, Va. Taylor and his wife Jennifer have two sons, Braxton and Parker.

Pamela De La O joined the Chihuahuas staff in September of 2013. She currently serves as the Senior Director for Finance & Administration and oversees financial reporting and accounting for MountainStar Sports Group endeavors including the El Paso Chihuahuas, El Paso Locomotive FC, Leg Up Entertainment and MountainStar Foundation. De La O's responsibility also includes capturing the financial details of the diverse operations and applying principles to the continuously changing aspects of the business.

A native of El Paso, Texas, De La O's accounting background came from public accounting at Lauterbach, Borschow & Company, and prior to, Dunbar, Broaddus, Gibson, P.C.

De La O graduated from UTEP in 2000 and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She earned her CPA in 2008. She has a daughter, Elena Emerald.

Pamela Nieto serves as the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Supervisor and Payroll Coordinator. Nieto's responsibilities include ensuring all departments are supported with their accounts receivable and accounts payable needs as well as processing their hourly employees payroll.

Nieto started with the Chihuahuas in late 2016. She previously was an Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable Processor for NCH Marketing Services where she held the position for five years.

Nieto is working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Business and minor in Accounting. She has two children, Emiliano & Julian with her spouse Luis Marcial.

Anthony Rifenburg is the 2022 Broadcast & Media Relations Assistant. Rifenburg is the Chihuahuas No. 2 broadcaster, and his media relations responsibilities include creating daily game notes, stat packs and rosters. Rifenburg also scores Chihuahuas home games for the First Pitch app and finalizes box scores, interviewing players and coaches, facilitating local media coverage and game day interviews and is in charge of the press box on game days.

Rifenburg has had plenty of experience prior to joining the Chihuahuas staff. He served as a broadcaster for his alma mater, California State University, Sacramento (Sac State) Baseball from 2015-2019. While pursuing his studies, he was the Sports Director at KSSU Radio Station, the student radio station of Sacramento State. Rifenburg also had stints as a television broadcaster for 2018 Western Athletic Conference Baseball Postseason Tournament, the Vallejo Admirals, Independent Pro Ball Organization in the Bay Area, broadcaster on ESPN Radio for Klamath Falls Gems, Collegiate Summer league team in southern Oregon, but not before his time as a Little League Baseball umpire as a kid himself.

In his spare time, he served as the head coach of Sacramento State Club Baseball Team in 2014 and 2015.

Rifenburg graduated from Sac State with a bachelor's degree in Communications with an Economics minor in 2019. He has a cat named Whisky.

El Paso native Judge Jimmy Scott, a member of the inaugural staff of the Chihuahuas, is the Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships and Suites. As Senior Director, Scott works to bring local, national and international brands in partnership with the Chihuahuas brand by supporting and advising their strategic and operational decision-making through insights to help drive their business in a family fun entertaining environment.

A proud graduate of Baylor University, Scott started in the sports industry at his alma mater working for ISP/IMG. Following his stint at Baylor, Scott returned home to El Paso to work for the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in the marketing and promotions department.

Scott graduated with a degrees in Public Relations, Advertising and Business Entrepreneurship in 2010. He is married to Kameron Leigh Scott and loves to spend time outdoors with his family and their dog, Otis Brown.

Cole joined the Chihuahuas shortly after the conclusion of the 2021 season as the Senior Account Executive of our Corporate Partnerships division. He is responsible for driving our sales effort in building unique & effective partnership programs that not only aid in the growth of businesses through our platform, but also continue to provide the highest quality of life and promote economic development in the Greater El Paso Area.

Prior to the Chihuahuas, Buck served in a dual role as both the Director of Group Sales and Corporate Partnerships Sales Executive for four years at Regions Field with the Birmingham Barons (White Sox Double-A affiliate in Birmingham, Ala.).

Cole graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration as a member of its esteemed Brock School of Business Sports Marketing Concentration.

The Senior Director of Ticket Sales & Service, Nick Seckerson is entering his seventh season with the El Paso Chihuahuas. Seckerson oversees Season Seat, Group Sales, and Inside Sales for the Chihuahuas.

Seckerson started his professional sports career with the El Paso Chihuahuas in 2013 as a Ticket Sales Account Executive. During his tenure Seckerson built the first Inside Sales Department for MountainStar Sports Group and has implemented a variety of sales and fan engagement strategies in an effort to increase Season Seat sales and usage, including a the Season Seat Holder Rewards program and the Season Ticket Membership model.

Prior to the Chihuahuas, he worked for the Aberdeen Ironbirds as a Sales & Marketing intern.

Seckerson graduated from Elon University with a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Event Management in 2013. He currently serves on the MountainStar Sports Group Foundation Board and the United Way of El Paso County Young Leader Society Advisory Board.

Ross Rotwein is the Senior Director Strategy & Analytics. His responsibilities include business strategies, business analytics, ticket optimization and technology for the Chihuahuas, El Paso Locomotive FC, and Leg Up Entertainment.

Prior to joining the Chihuahuas in 2017, Rotwein started his career as a tax accountant intern for Lauterbach Borschow & Co. and as a tax analyst intern for Hunt Companies. With his tax and analytic backgrounds, Rotwein became the Chief Financial Officer for DaddyO's Drive Thru Inc. in 2015.

Rotwein currently serves as a board member for the Mercer Analytics and Marketing Committee.

A former member of the UTEP Golf Team, Rotwein graduated with bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2013 and followed with a master’s in tax accounting in 2014. Rotwein was once the youngest Men’s Club Champion at El Paso Country Club.

Ruben Armendariz is the Sr. Manager of Ticket Operations for the El Paso Chihuahuas, El Paso Locomotive FC and all other events at Southwest University Park. Armendariz, who started with the Chihuahuas as a gameday staff member in 2014, worked his way into an internship and soon after, was retained as a full-time staff member. In his current role, he manages the day-to-day operations of the box office, manages box office flow, and ensuring ticket requests get fulfilled and each guest gets the best seats available.

A native of El Paso, Armendariz graduated from UTEP with a bachelor's degree in Business Management in 2018. A current season ticket holder for FC Juarez and avid soccer fan, Armendariz, or "Uncle Rubes" is not hard to miss at 6'4" wearing a 16 shoe. He enjoys riding motorcycles in his free time.

Recently promoted to Coordinator of Ticket Operations, Hector Marquez has been with the Chihuahuas since the 2019 season. His responsibilities include customer service, box office operations on gamedays and non-gamedays, and working with the Season Seat Member team and Group/Premium sales team to ensure a great customer experience at the box office.

Prior to joining the Chihuahuas, Marquez assisted with Arkansas Baseball Little League tournaments and interned with the Phalanx Flight Team in 2017.

Marquez is a 2017 graduate of the University of Memphis graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport & Leisure Management with a Minor in History. While at Memphis, he was a member of Memphis' Rugby team. His love for rugby continued after college, as Marquez served as the Cathedral High School rugby coach from 2018-2021, was the Vice President of the Borderland Rugby Association upon his return to El Paso.

One of the first members of the Chihuahuas staff, Primo C. Martinez serves as the Manager of Season Seat Sales. As manager, Martinez oversees the Season Seat Membership team. He also works on building, maintaining, and creating relationships with current and potential Season Seat Members and looks to provide memorable experiences at Chihuahuas games.

Martinez currently serves as a member of the United Way of El Paso County’s Young Leader Society.

Martinez played baseball at Grand View University for two seasons and coached as a student for his final season. He also served on their Student Activities Council while interning with the Iowa Barnstormers, a member of the Arena Football League. He graduated with a degree in Sports Management in 2013.

Martinez resides in El Paso with his wife Taylor and their dog Oakley. He enjoys attending sporting events, playing sports, golfing, concerts, shooting, relaxing, and listening to music and podcasts.

Brittany Morgan serves as the Manager of Group Sales for the El Paso Chihuahuas. In her role, Morgan helps to create ideas and execute plans.

Morgan came to the Chihuahuas with experience in the sports industry. She served as the Stadium Operations intern for Iowa Cubs (Triple-A Affiliate of the Chicago Cubs) in 2014 before joining the Orange Bowl as a Ticket Sales intern.

Morgan was a 4-year scholarship letterwinner at Iowa State University. She earned Bachelors of Science in Marketing in the spring of 2014. She has one dog, Chance.

In her fifth season with the Chihuahuas, Janine Quiroz is the Senior Account Executive of Group Sales. Quiroz is responsible for building relationships and creating great experiences for people whether it be for their company, sports team, or just a friends and/or family night out.

In a succession of promotions, Quiroz came to the Chihuahuas in 2016 as an intern. After seeing success, she was awarded a full time position as an Account Executive with the organization.

Prior to the Chihuahuas, Quiroz served as an intern for the Marketing & Promotions Department for University of Texas at El Paso's (UTEP) Athletics.

A member of the United Way of El Paso County's Young Leader's Society, Quiroz graduated from UTEP with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in Communications in 2015.

Austin Weber is in his fourth season with the Chihuahuas as a Senior Account Executive for Group Sales. Weber's primary responsibilities include creating memorable experiences and events at Chihuahuas’ games for companies, non-profit organizations, youth teams, and everyone in between.

Weber came to the Chihuahuas with Minor League Baseball experience, having previously worked as an Account Executive with the Pawtucket Red Sox (Boston Red Sox Triple-A affiliate).

A graduate of Nichols College, Weber Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Management in 2016.

Angela Olivas is in her 10th year, serving as the Senior Director for Marketing & Communications for the El Paso Chihuahuas and El Paso Locomotive FC. She oversees the Public Relations, Marketing (including Social Media), Advertising, Promotions & Community Relations (including Mascot) and Video Production efforts for the organization.

Under her leadership the Chihuahuas have become a fan favorite while quickly establishing themselves as a cutting-edge organization and model for success in Minor League Baseball (MiLB). The combination of promotions like Bark at the Park, voted the MiLB Promotion of the Year in 2014, creative giveaways and an innovative approach to marketing (traditional & digital) as well as in-game entertainment has made the Chihuahuas one of the hottest tickets in the entire Southwest.

The Chihuahuas have garnered international, nation, regional and local attention for their marketing and public relations efforts. They are also making a difference in the community through initiatives such as the Chihuahuas Volunteer Pack presented by Helen of Troy, which is volunteer effort that impacts the entire city of El Paso.

The organization has also been a major player in the social media realm. Under Olivas’s watch, the team developed from scratch a Facebook page which seemingly overnight assumed the No. 1 spot in Minor League Baseball. Moreover, the Chihuahuas are on the verge of 300,000 followers across all social media platforms and continue to be an industry leader in creative content and digital advertising.

In her role with the Chihuahuas, Olivas has had the opportunity to facilitate and lecture on the topics of Digital Media and Women in Sports at the Minor League Baseball Innovators Summit (previously Promotional Seminar) and the Minor League Baseball Winter Meetings. She currently serves on the Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) Advisory Committee and is a member of Minor League Baseball’s LIFT (Leaders Inspiring Future Talent) program, serving as a mentor to women looking to advance careers in baseball.

After having served as a consultant for El Paso Locomotive FC, El Paso’s professional soccer team and a member of the USL Championship League, Olivas was named Sr. Director in 2021. She is also assists with Public Relations for Leg Up Entertainment, MountainStar Sports Group’s events company. She currently serves on Minor League Baseball's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.

Prior to the Chihuahuas, Olivas spent 11 years with the University of Texas at El Paso Athletic media relations department. She worked her way into being name UTEP’s Director of Athletic Media Relations, which at the time made her one of just five females nationally to hold the position at a Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) school. Olivas graduated UTEP with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication/Public Relations with a minor in Marketing in 2002. She has one daughter, Elizabeth, who is the Marketing Manager for Locomotive.

If you need a life-size poster of Dave Matthews, Ilene Serna is your girl! The creator of sexy, the illustrator of characters, the coordinator of design, this girl's nails alone leave you no question why she was hired as the Creative Services Coordinator for the El Paso Chihuahuas.

While Serna’s background is a pioneer of carefully constructed medal signs atop the towers of steel and concrete that encompass a city’s center, she is no stranger to the diamond. She assisted in the development of videoboard graphics prior to the Chihuahuas inaugural campaign, making her the perfect fit to continue her project after a 4-year hiatus.

Serna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Tucson (that sounds cool doesn’t it). While at that cool school in the blistering Arizona heat, Serna founded the Blackout Charity Gallery Shows, allowing local artists to showcase their twisted neon minds lit up under the dark glows of black lighting, all for the good of local charities. Serna is a published illustrator from the children’s book series “Meet Clarabelle Blue” but that is definitely not her claim to fame. Rather, she has been officially published in the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Official Fan Book. It is her love for Anthony Kiedis Flea that her passion crazed her into naming her dog after the bassist. To the dog, it’s all “Water Under the Bridge.”

Tim Hagerty broadcasts all 150 Chihuahuas games on 600 ESPN El Paso and has been with the team since the inaugural 2014 season. He’s broadcasted in professional baseball since 2004 and previously called games for the Padres’ Triple-A affiliate in Tucson and Portland, as well as for lower-level teams in Idaho Falls, Idaho and Mobile, Ala.

Hagerty grew up in Massachusetts and studied in college at Northern Vermont University. He’s the author of two baseball books and lives in El Paso with his wife and son.

Michael Raymundo, Manager of Facilities, is in his ninth season with the Chihuahuas. Raymundo, who started with the Chihuahuas as a volunteer in 2013, oversees the day-to-day operations of Southwest University Park including but not limited to daily housekeeping, event cleaning, post-game cleaning, and repair and maintenance of Southwest University Park. He also oversees the capital improvements at the ballpark and assists the ballpark's special events.

Raymundo came to the Chihuahuas having served in the United States Marine Corps from 2008 to 2012. Stationed in Yuma, Ariz., he was assigned to the Marine Corps Air Station Commander’s Headquarters Squadron. During his enlistment, he served as the non-commissioned officer for the Base Postal Facility and as an Assistant Disbursing Officer for all Defense Travel Systems, and was hand selected by the Base Commander and Sergeant Major as the Vice President for the Single Marine Program, overseeing the morale and well-being of more than 3,000 marines.

Raymundo successfully completed his active duty service obligation and was Honorably Discharged in 2016. He was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his accomplishments during his enlistment.

Following his discharge from the Marine Corps, Raymundo graduated with a Bachelor of Business with a concentration in Marketing in 2015 and a minor in Criminal Justice. He is currently pursuing a masters degree in Construction Management. He has one dog, Vader.

Gina Roe-Davis is a proud native El Pasoan that graduated with a BFA from Texas Tech University. Immediately after graduation, Roe-Davis moved back to El Paso and landed a job in Radio Advertising where she quickly excelled as an Advertising Executive that led to a Local Sales Management position for Entravision Communications and eventually Event & Non Traditional Revenue Director for Regent Broadcasting. Her talent for unique event conceptualization and flawless implementation led her to branch out on her own and in 2005 Roe-Davis started RAVE Marketing & Events; a minority owned Marketing & Event Management Company.

Rave Marketing event management has included an impressive lineup of premier events such as the El Paso Downtown Street Festival, Groove & Glow 5k, Tuff Hedeman’s Bull Riding Tour, Fort Bliss Summer Concert Series at the New Freedom Crossing, the Sunland Park Racetrack Derby, The United States Bowling Convention and Conference USA, Conference USA Block Party and The El Paso Chihuahua’s Jersey Unveiling and Opening Day VIP party – just to name a few. Rave has also managed and coordinated Ribbon Cuttings and Groundbreakings for Tenet Healthcare, El Paso Chihuahuas, MountainStar Sports Group, Hunt Companies, WestStar Bank and The Fountains at Farah. Some of Rave’s past & present clients include: Tenet Healthcare, El Paso Convention & Visitors Bureau, Championship Bull Riding, UTEP, Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss, Hunt Companies, The Sun Bowl Association, Sunland Park Racetrack & Casino, and The Fountains at Farah. In February of 2016 Rave Marketing was hired by the Diocese of El Paso to coordinate the Levee project during the Papal visit to Juarez.

Rave Marketing & Events is based out of El Paso Texas but has managed events all over the United States including Las Vegas, Nashville, & Dallas/ Fort Worth, working with such National media outlets as Fox Sports Network, Great American Country Music Network, Sony Studios and CBS College Sports Network. In 2014, Rave Marketing added a Street Team Department as an extension of the services they provide in the El Paso area giving companies the opportunity to take their promotional needs to the streets with strategic street team marketing solutions that help deliver a company’s message to their target audience at a grassroots level. Rave continues to grow in all areas of entertainment and is currently expanding their artist booking department.

On her spare time, Roe-Davis loves to travel all over the US, Mexico and Europe with her husband Jimmy Davis. Roe-Davis currently sits on the Greater El Paso Civic, Convention, and Tourism Advisory Board, the Board of the Pan American Round Table of El Paso, and is a member of Executive Forum.

David Apodaca is the Manager of Retail and Merchandise Operations. His responsibilities include sourcing products, hiring and training retail staff, store management, visual merchandising and displays, inventory management, customer engagement, and establishing service standards.

New to the organization, Apodaca started with the Chihuahuas in 2021 after having spent more than 25 years in the retail landscape.

Apodaca is a native of El Paso. He and his wife, Monica, have a son, Chris, and three dogs - Brees, Foxy, and Cita.
