LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga.. – The Gwinnett Stripers (33-42) were up by two after six and led 5-4 in the eighth but could not hold off Jacksonville (32-42), as the Jumbo Shrimp rallied to tie it at 5-5 and then scored twice in the 10th inning to win 7-5 on Sunday at Coolray Field. The Stripers ended the International League’s first half by taking four of six from Jacksonville.

Decisive Plays: Brian Miller smashed a two-run home run (2) to give Jacksonville a 2-0 lead in the second. Gwinnett took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the second after Jumbo Shrimp starter Enmanuel De Jesus airmailed a throw on a bunt attempt from Hoy Park which allowed two to score. Eli White followed with an RBI single to score Park. Jacksonville tied it with a solo shot from Jordan Groshans (4) in the fourth, but solo home runs from Arden Pabst (1) and Joe Dunand (11) put the Stripers back up 5-3. Jacksonville tied it at 5-5 in the eighth on a single from Santiago Chavez. In extras, a double from Charles LeBlanc and sacrifice fly by Miller put the Jumbo Shrimp up 7-5.

Key Contributors: Pabst (2-for-4, homer, RBI) hit his first career Triple-A homer, White (2-for-4, RBI, stolen base) reached base three times, and Dunand (1-for-4, homer, RBI) drove in the fifth run of the day.
