Guide to Frequently Asked Questions about LP Frans Stadium

Accessible Parking & Seating

The main parking lot surrounding LP Frans Stadium offers spaces for guests with disabilities. ADA seating is available throughout the ballpark and can be requested for all Crawdads games. For assistance reserving ADA seating, please contact us at 828-322-3000.

Alcohol

No alcoholic beverages are permitted to be brought through the gates of LP Frans Stadium. North Carolina State Law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to any person under the age of 21. All guests will be required to show approved identification. Only government-issued identification that is currently valid (not expired) and contains the following will be accepted: Name of Person, Photograph, Physical Description, and Date of Birth. No guest will be served more than two alcoholic beverages at any given time. Alcohol beverage sales on the concourse level will be cut off at the end of the 7th inning during a baseball game. Alcoholic beverages must be consumed within LP Frans Stadium and may not leave the ballpark.

Animals

Only properly identified service dogs are permitted at LP Frans Stadium, unless for official dog-friendly Dollar Dog Tuesday or Bark in the Park games.

Autographs

Players can sign autographs before and after games. The best place to try to get player signatures is down the third base line past the seating bowl. The area is open until first pitch and will reopen following the last out of the game. Please keep in mind that autographs are up to the player’s discretion and staff members cannot help facilitate signatures.

Baby Changing Stations

Baby changing stations are provided in first and third base women’s restrooms. There are currently not stations in the men’s room but additional space can be provided upon request at the front gate or Customer Care Booth.

Banners and Signs

Fans are welcome to show their support via signs and banners. To ensure that these articles do not distract from others, we ask that guests adhere to the following guidelines: The Crawdads ask that banners not be placed in the direct sight line of the batter and/or hung in any area of the playing field or over seat backs, protective railings, infringe on the sight lines of other guests, be larger than four feet by eight feet in size, or be commercial, political, or obscene in nature.

Cameras/Video Equipment

Hand-held video cameras and still cameras for personal use may be brought into the ballpark, provided no game action is recorded in accordance with Major League Baseball regulations.

Child Admittance

Children aged 2 or younger do not need a ticket if they will be seated in a lap. If the child will be occupying their own seat, a ticket is required.

Code of Conduct

In order to provide a welcoming experience for all, the Crawdads have implemented a Fan Code of Conduct. Out of respect for fellow guests, players, coaches, and ballpark staff, all guests are prohibited from:

  • Trespassing on the playing field at any time;
  • Interfering with baseballs that are in play;
  • Throwing or tossing objects;
  • Using foul, obscene or derogatory language (see below) or gestures;
  • Misusing or overconsuming alcohol, including, underage consumption;
  • Behaving in a manner that is disruptive, unruly, or abusive;
  • Accessing areas of the ballpark without a proper ticket, pass, or credential;
  • Misusing tickets, passes, or credentials in any way; or
  • Bringing prohibited items into the ballpark.

Derogatory language is defined as offensive language concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, or national origin, and anyone using such language is subject to automatic ejection from the ballpark.

Violations of the Fan Code of Conduct will not be tolerated and may lead to ejection from the ballpark, a ban on attending future games, or other consequences. Guests who are found to have used derogatory language will be ejected from the ballpark.

Guests are encouraged to report violations of the Fan Code of Conduct to the nearest ballpark staff member. This can be done in person, directly with a member of the Crawdads front office or at customer service.

Private Events

LP Frans Stadium is the perfect venue for a wide variety of events outside of baseball. If you have an event in mind, please reach out to Daniel at [email protected] to make your idea come to life.

Rain Policy

The Crawdads will do everything in their power to play games as scheduled, but weather may alter the schedule. In the event of delays or cancellations, the team will post the most current information on social media. If nothing is posted, the game is on as scheduled but rest assured, we are always monitoring the situation!

What if it does rain out? In the event we are unable to start a game, or four and a half innings are not played, tickets for the rained out game can be exchanged for another game that season (upgrade required for concert dates and the Independence Day Extravaganza). Hold onto the tickets and bring them back to the box office to swap them for your new date.

Smoking

The seating bowl and main concourse at LP Frans Stadium are smoke free. Smoking sections are designated by the Crawdads Café, and on the upper concourse. Smoking includes, but is not limited to, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vape pens.

Strollers

The Crawdads welcome guests with strollers. However, their use must not limit guest movement or block aisles/walkways.

Team Store

The GoTeez Locker Room is open year-round with a selection of hats, shirts, and novelty items. The store is open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and is located at LP Frans Stadium next to the main gate. If you would like to visit the store outside of a Crawdads game or event, please call 828-322-3000 or stop by the ticket office when you arrive, and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.
