The SeaWolves (19-12) saw their seven-game winning streak conclude in a rain-shortened game, as they fell to Harrisburg (20-13) 5-1 in six innings.

Harrisburg scored an early run against Erie starter Carlos Peña when Yohandy Morales singled home Robert Hassell III in the first inning.

Erie came back to tie in the second. Ben Malgeri extended his hitting streak to eight games when he scored Jake Holton on an infield single.

In the second inning, Harrisburg loaded the bases on three straight one-out singles. Andrew Pinckney brought home all three on a triple to the right-center gap, giving the Senators a 4-1 lead. A balk by Peña later in the frame scored Pinckney and made it 5-1.

The game was delayed by rain after the conclusion of the sixth inning and the game did not resume.

Senators reliever Samuel Reyes (3-1) was credited with the win after taking over for starter Lucas Knowes. Peña (0-1) took the loss.

The series continues with an 11:00 a.m. first pitch on Wednesday as Wilkel Hernandez faces Brad Lord.
