Fresno, Calif. (Saturday, May 18) - Early evening rain and a poor forecast into the night forced the postponement of Saturday's Fresno Grizzlies game against the Sacramento River Cats. The game will be made up on Sunday as part of a single-admission doubleheader, beginning at the regularly scheduled time of 1:05 p.m. at Chukchansi Park. The clubs will play a pair of seven-inning games.
Previously purchased tickets for Sunday will be good for both games. Fans holding tickets to Saturday's rained out game may exchange them for any future Grizzlies home game this season, based on availability, with the exception of July 4. Saturday tickets may also be exchanged for Sunday's doubleheader. Ticket exchanges must be made in person at the Chukchansi Park ticket office.
ON THAT FRES-NOTE: Saturday's rain postponement was the second in three days at Chukchansi Park; between the 2016 and 2018 seasons, the tarp had only been on the field twice on a game day in three seasons at the Fresno Grizzlies' downtown home (not at all in 2017).
