Two Voyagers Named Pioneer League All-Stars

Players from each of the eight PBL teams comprise the 28-man roster. The roster features two players from Great Falls. OF
Logan Sowers was drafted by the White Sox in the 28th round this year out of Indiana University. Sowers will be one of the starting outfielders in the game. He is currently batting .329 with six home runs and 23 RBIs in 41 games played. Sowers has nine doubles and one triple, with a .430 on-base percentage.
Michael McCormick is in his first season with Great Falls after making his professional debut for the AZL White Sox in 2017. McCormick was drafted by Chicago in the 34th round last year out of Eastern Illinois University. The reliever is 4-0 this season with a 3.00 ERA and one save. McCormick has struck out 23 with only five walks in 24 innings pitched.
Great Falls plays a two-game home series against Billings Wednesday and Thursday nights at Centene Stadium. The Voyagers then hit the road for a three-game weekend series at Missoula before the all-star break begins on Monday. Great Falls returns home following the three-day break to start a seven-game home stand August 9th against Idaho Falls and Ogden.
