High-A Affiliate
Spend two days at Dow Diamond on July 29th & July 30th with professional players and coaches from the Great Lakes Loons in a strong baseball learning environment with the Loons Summer Baseball Camp. The camp is for kids ages 7-12 and teaches various aspects of hitting, throwing, fielding, and pitching from professional baseball players and the manager of the Great Lakes Loons, John Shoemaker. The drills taught are utilized by the coaches and player personnel of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Great Lakes Loons.
As part of the camp, each player will receive two days of instruction from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day. Campers will also receive a camp t-shirt and four box tickets to a Loons game that will take place following the second day of instruction. All campers will be invited on the field for a special pre-game recognition.

2021 Summer Baseball Camps are cancelled for 2021, but they will be returning in 2022.
John Shoemaker is in his 5th season as the Loons Manager and his 44th season in the Los Angeles Dodger's organization. 2020 marks his 27th season as a minor league manager. He has served as a Player, Coach, Coordinator, Manager, and, most recently, Captain of Player Development in the Dodger's organization since 1977.
The Loons Summer Baseball Camp will be led by Manager John Shoemaker, his staff, and players of the Great Lakes Loons.
To ensure the best possible experience for each camp participant, players will be assigned to smaller camp groups based on their age and ability.
