City Island to Re-Open - Senators to Play Saturday and Sunday

HARRISBURG, PA. - Following the recent flooding, City Island will re-open this Saturday and Sunday as the Senators will play three games against the Bowie Baysox at FNB Field. The two teams will play a single game Saturday, July 28 at 6:00 p.m. with gates opening at 4:30 p.m., followed by a single-admission doubleheader Sunday, July 29 starting at 4:00 p.m., with gates opening at 3:00 p.m.
Both games of the doubleheader will be seven-inning contests, with a 30-minute break between each game. Fans that purchase a ticket for Sunday may stay for both games of the doubleheader.
The Senators and Baysox were originally scheduled to play a four-game series, however one of the games has been cancelled and won't be made up.
Saturday's game is Murder Mystery night, featuring a Graham Hetrick "Coroner" bobblehead giveaway to the first 1,000 fans. Fans will also be able to solve a murder mystery at the ballpark, with clues and scenes played throughout the game. Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick will be at the park to meet with fans throughout the game and help them solve the mystery. The game will not have postgame fireworks.
Sunday's game features a Senators tank top giveaway to the first 1,000 fans 13 & older and kids are invited to run the bases postgame. The originally scheduled Battle of the Badges softball game featuring local police and fire departments will not be played.
Following an off-day on Monday, the Senators continue the homestand with a three-game series against the Altoona Curve from July 31- August 2 at FNB Field.
The Senators box office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available via telephone during the same hours as the box office hours.
