Yamamoto's 12 strikeouts was just one shy of his Hammerhead record 13 which he set in his last home start, which was also against the Fire Frogs. Yamamoto gave up three runs (two earned) in six innings which put a small blemish on his stellar ERA that sits at 1.55 for the season.
Both of Jupiter's runs came in the bottom of the ninth inning while trailing 3-0.
