All-Star
With Ft. Myers up 6-0 in the 2nd, a win seemed unlikely, but the Hammerheads got back in it over the next three innings.
After a tough top of the inning,
In the third, Encarnacion hit his second straight homerun for the Hammerheads, this time launching a 2-run bomb to left center field.
After Holloway left in the second,
Even though Fort Myers came back with those two runs in the top of the 4th, once again the Hammerheads responded. An RBI double from
Jupiter blew a big opportunity to take the lead in the bottom of the fifth. With a double from Encarnacion, a single from Reyes and a fielder's choice, the bases were loaded with no one out. A big K for the Miracle and double play closed the inning, keeping the game 8-7 in favor of Fort Myers.
Some new faces in Jupiter finished the game for the Hammerheads.
