Accountant Peterson a welcome addition
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (July 21, 2016) - The Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, have welcomed Becky Peterson to the organization's front office at the team's accountant. Peterson moved to North Carolina in 2015 following more than a decade of service with Boa Technology Inc. in Denver, Colo. This is her first job in professional sports.
"Becky has been an invaluable addition to our front office," said Intimidators General Manager Randy Long. "She has a wealth of knowledge as an experienced accountant and human resource professional, possesses a great attitude, and has shown she's a great team player."
Peterson is responsible for all financial aspects of the organization and general bookkeeping for the Intimidators as well as assisting with the strategic planning.
The Intimidators also recently welcomed Mike Wolf as the team's new box office manager. Wolf had served as a ticket account executive for IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions at the University of Akron for two years. He previously interned for the Philadelphia Eagles ticket office as well as at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, S.C. Wolf graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a degree in Sport Management.
"We're excited and proud to bring on two quality individuals like Becky and Mike to our organization. We look forward to having fans and our community interact and get to know them," said Randy Long.
