Jon Ryan
Jon Ryan is 12-year NFL veteran who won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks in 2014. He started his career with the Green Bay Packers. He played college football for the University of Regina Rams. He is currently playing for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL.
Jon has developed a reputation among his NFL peers as an astute investor and has been recognized by multiple NFL coaches as the hardest working player in the league. Originally from Canada, Jon and his wife, actress Sarah Colonna, live in Los Angeles.
Chris Rasmussen
Chris is a partner with Recoil Resources, a privately held land exploration and production company based in Houston, Texas. Recoil Resources manages 70,000 acres in the Eagle Ford and Austin Chalk wells in South Texas. He is also Executive Producer of major motion pictures with Oakhurst Entertainment based in Beverly Hills, CA. Chris earned a BBA in accounting from Texas State University in 1995. He currently lives in Tomball, Texas.
Dr. Thomas Vander Veen
Tom is the President of Epsilon Economics and specializes in the application of economics to intellectual property, international trade, and complex commercial disputes. Dr. Vander Veen has studied market structure, competition, and performance of numerous pharmaceutical products, including pricing, marketing and promotion, and regulatory approval. He has served as the principal economic advisor to the Chairman of the U.S. International Trade Commission. Previously, Dr. Vander Veen was an assistant professor of economics at Skidmore College. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from Brown University.
Tom is also an individual investor with the Hickory Crawdads and Down East Wood Ducks of Minor League Baseball as well as the Dallas Jackals Rugby Club of Major League Rugby.
Ron Kuehl
Ron is the managing director of Frontenac, a Chicago-based private equity firm. The firm focuses on investing in lower middle market buyout transactions in the consumer, industrial, and services industries. Frontenac works in partnership with proven operating leaders, through an executive-centric approach called CEO1ST, to identify, acquire, and build market-leading companies through transformational acquisitions and operational excellence. The firm has built a leading franchise working with over 275 owners of mid-sized businesses as they address complex transition issues of liquidity, management enhancement, and growth planning.
Chris Parker
Chris Parker has been an investor and partner in the Dunlap ATX group of companies since 2010 and currently works full time filling the role as the Chief Financial Officer for the existing businesses and Project Manager for new construction.
Prior to working with Bridget Dunlap, Parker spent 20 years in the Oil & Gas Equipment Industry in various management and sales positions. Parker earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Texas A&M University and also earned a certificate from Rice University’s Executive Program for Managers.
Roger Weber
Roger Weber is an enterprising leader, client manager, and practice builder experienced in Urban Design, Strategic Planning, Economics, Data Analytics, and Journalism.
Urban Design Practice Leadership and Management: Roger founded, leads, and manages the Washington, DC-based City Design Practice for international architecture consultancy Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. In this role, Roger works directly with cities and developers on transformational urban development strategies. His projects have spanned five continents, 25 of the US' largest cities, four of the US’ largest tech companies, leading universities, four national capitals, and the largest development project in the world. Prior to SOM, Roger worked for Rem Koolhaas' Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) and Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company (DPZ). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and the Congress for the New Urbanism. He holds a Master's in Urban Planning from Harvard University, where he was President of the Harvard Urban Planning Organization.
Brian Leibl
Brian founded Avem partners in 2016. Avem is a private equity investment firm based in Manhattan Beach, California. The firm primarily makes investments in lower middle market aerospace and industrial companies, aerospace, logistics, automotive, machinery, manufacturing, and commercial sectors. Brian’s son Evan currently plays baseball for the Oklahoma Sooners.
Tim Redmond
A beverage industry executive for over 30 years, Tim’;s specialty has always been brand building. He consistently provided positive energy and business acumen to assist in scaling small start-up brands into category leading large brands. Most recently Tim had key management roles with extremely successful beverage companies, Glaceau (Vitamin Water / Smartwater) and BODYARMOR, both selling to Coca-Cola, VW/SW for $4.2B and BA for $5.6B.
A University of Michigan graduate, Tim recently retired. He and his wife split time between Florida and Michigan.
Mike Zielinski
Since 2015, Mike Zielinski has been the Chief Financial Officer at Infinity Hydrocarbons, LLC, a first purchaser and marketer of crude oil. Prior to joining Infinity, Zielinski was CFO of GoDish.com, a national marketing and sales organization. Previously, he was CFO at two portfolio companies of Comvest Partners Private Equity Group; Velocity Express and Hi-Way Equipment Company. Mike began his career at Ernst & Young LLP and has over 25 years of progressive finance and accounting experience. He holds Bachelor of Business Administration and Master in Professional Accounting degrees from the University of Texas and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Scott McCaskill
Scott's primary focus is on our Assets Under Management (AUM) program, and he handles our client service, investment research and portfolio management. Scott earned his designations of "Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)" through the College of Financial Planning and "Registered Financial Consultant (RFC®)" through American College.
His securities licenses include Series 24 (General Securities Principal), Series 31 (Futures Managed Funds Exam), Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor Law Exam), and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law Exam) and insurance licenses in life, health and long term care.
Scott is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC), Leadership Frederick County and the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce.
