The Diamond, Home of the Lake Elsinore Storm Prevails

Lake Elsinore, CA ‐ The Diamond, home of the Lake Elsinore Storm, High‐A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, has a new title: Ballparkdigest.com’s Best of Ballparks High‐A champion.

The Ballparkdigest.com annual award, now in its 6th year, is the first time awarded to the California League stadium.

The Diamond, has been continuing to upgrade its facilities for the last several years. Spending several
million dollars to include features such as upgraded seating, premium entertainment locations, a full service, year round Tap Room (www.diamondtaproom.com), HD video board with brand new stadium audio and video production capabilities. During this unprecedented time, they continue their renovations, and are excited to unveil them to their fans, as soon as fans are allowed back into the stadium.

“We have had our hands in the stadium design upgrades, as we continue to try to provide the best of upgrades and amenities to keep our fans engaged,” said Christine Kavic, Storm CFO / Co‐General Manager. “Our fans help make us who we are, if they are happy then we are too”

The 6,000+ seat stadium was built in 1994. It has had the opportunity to host hundreds of thousands of fans for the past 26 seasons, and has featured many exciting events, such as West Coast Thunder, Nitro Circus, High School Graduations and much more.

The Diamond faced competition for the award with 28 other High‐A Ballparks around the country, some of which are brand new facilities.
