Rodgers worked 5 2/3 innings in his start for the Nuts and had allowed just two runs in the first five innings. Rodgers exited in the sixth with two runners aboard that scored after he left. Rodgers was charged with four runs, three earned, with five strikeouts and three walks.
The Rawhide starter McCanna lasted just 4 2/3 innings while allowing a career-high eight hits with eight runs, six earned, while walking three and striking out three.
Jimenez finished 4-for-5 with three doubles and three runs scored. Lewis went 2-for-5 with a run. Brigman reached four times with three hits and a walk.
