July 17, 2015

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (JULY 17, 2015) - The Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, are thrilled to announce that Mike Snow has been named Assistant General Manager of Operations. Snow is in his eleventh season with the team and was previously the Facilities Operations Manager.

"Mike has done an incredible job in his 11 seasons with the Pelican and is richly deserving of his promotion," said Pelicans President and General Manager Andy Milovich. "We're fortunate to have been blessed with someone that has Mike's experience, passion, and commitment to providing and maintaining TicketReturn.Com Field and the stadium experience for which we've become known. He's the best in the business."

Snow is responsible for the upkeep and game management of TicketReturn.Com Field at Pelicans Ballpark. He also oversees many of the team's seasonal gameday staff including the ushers, parking attendants, and the security personnel. Additionally, he is the supervisor for both home and visiting clubhouse managers. Snow also oversees all non-game day events.

A Massachusetts native, Snow began his career in sports with the Daytona Cubs and later with the Helena Brewers and Carolina Mudcats. He also spent a season working at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah.

A leader in the community as well, Snow also serves on the Myrtle Beach Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee.

Snow is the fourth Pelicans front office member promoted in the last calendar year. Milovich was promoted to President and General Manager in February. Nathan Barnett was elevated to full-time status as the Media Relations Manager and Broadcaster. The Pelicans also promoted Katelyn Guild to Director of Business Development just prior to the start of the season.

The 2015 season marks the 17th season for the Pelicans franchise and first as the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. For information on tickets to see the Pelicans in 2015, please call (843) 918-6000, e-mail [email protected], or visit www.MyrtleBeachPelicans.com.
