Game Summary: The Sugar Land Space Cowboys built an early 5-0 lead and sent the Oklahoma City Dodgers to an eventual 7-4 loss Tuesday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Sugar Land (9-10) scored an unearned run in the first inning before adding four unearned runs in the third inning as the Dodgers were charged with three errors in the game’s first three innings. The Dodgers (11-8) got on the scoreboard in the third inning via back-to-back doubles by Omar Estévez and Kevin Pillar. Jake Lamb added a sacrifice fly later in the inning for OKC. The teams exchanged runs in the fifth inning before Andy Burns hit his third home run of the season in the eighth inning with a solo shot out to left field to trim Sugar Land’s lead to 6-4. The Space Cowboys’ Corey Julks answered with a solo homer in the ninth inning as Sugar Land outhit the Dodgers, 11-9.

-Andy Burns finished a triple shy of the cycle, going 3-for-4 with a home run and a double. He has hit safely in seven of his last eight games, going 12-for-31 during the stretch with seven extra-base hits and seven RBI. His three hits Tuesday tied his season-high mark and was his third three-hit game this season.
-The Dodgers were charged with a season-high four errors for their highest single-game error total since Sept. 2, 2021 against Albuquerque in OKC when they also had a season-high four errors.
-Kevin Pillar went 3-for-5 with a double, RBI and two runs scored. He has reached base in 15 of his first 16 games this season and his 18 runs scored this season lead the PCL. The three hits tied his season high.
-With Tuesday’s defeat, the Dodgers have now lost three straight games and four of their last five games. The three-game losing skid ties the team’s longest of the season April 12-14 in El Paso.
-Andy Burns’ homer in the eighth inning snapped OKC’s season-high stretch of three straight games without a home run. It was the team’s longest stretch without a home run since May 22-24, 2019. The Dodgers have now homered in 13 of their first 19 games this season and have 23 homers to begin 2022.
-The Dodgers’ four runs resulted in the team’s highest run total in the last five games after OKC had scored just one run in three straight games entering Tuesday.
-Four Dodgers pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts and nine walks, recording OKC's 11th double-digit strikeout game this season and the third game this season with nine or more walks issued...On the other hand, OKC's offense struck out a season-low two times and tied their season-low with one walk.
