Game Summary: Starting pitcher Yefry Ramírez allowed one run over a season-high 6.0 innings of work and knocked a RBI double in the fifth inning to kick-start the OKC Dodgers’ offense in a 4-1 win against the El Paso Chihuahuas (13-17) Thursday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. El Paso took the first lead of the game when Trent Grisham, who was on a Major League Rehab Assignment from the San Diego Padres, hit a RBI double in the fifth inning. The Dodgers (14-17) picked up their first hit of the game in the fourth inning, then tallied their first run in the fifth inning when Ramírez hit a RBI double into right field to tie the game. Solo home runs by Keibert Ruiz in the sixth inning and Zack Reks in the eighth inning put OKC in front, 3-1, before Andy Burns added a RBI single to close out the scoring. Ramírez (2-2) earned his second win of the season with one walk and tied his season-high mark with seven strikeouts.

He joined OKC on a Major League Rehab Assignment June 7. He was placed on the Injured List May 18 with left elbow inflammation after appearing in eight games for the Los Angeles Dodgers this season, going 1-3.

-Zach Reks hit his fourth homer of the season Thursday. Over his last 10 games, Reks is 15-for-40 (.375) with seven doubles and has reached base in 23 of his 24 games this season. He leads the Dodgers with 25 runs scored this season and entered the game ranked tied for third in runs scored in Triple-A West.

-With Thursday’s win, the Dodgers improved to 2-4 in series openers this season and to 2-1 in home series openers.

-Andy Burns extended his hitting streak to nine games with his eighth-inning RBI single. During the streak, Burns is 15-for-31 (.484) with three homers, four doubles and 11 RBI.
