BIG MOMENTS
- Brooklyn starter Connor Grey tossed 8 1/3 innings, striking out nine in his first victory for the Cyclones. Grey entered the ninth inning looking for his second-career no-hitter, but allowed a Corbin Williams inside-the-park home run. Williams launched a sinking line drive to center field that landed feet in front of Brooklyn center fielder Antoine Duplantis, bouncing over his diving effort and rolling to the wall.
- Leading 2-0, Brooklyn crossed four runs in the third inning, scoring on RBI singles from Joe Genord and Ronny Mauricio, an RBI double by Edgardo Fermin, and a sac fly from Cole Kleszcz to push the advantage to 6-0.
- Joe Suozzi broke the scoreless tie in the bottom of the second inning, catapulting his first Brooklyn home run to left field to give the Cyclones a 2-0 lead.

- Ronny Mauricio had a third multi-hit game over the first four of the series. He had one multi-hit game at home over the first 35 Brooklyn home games.
- The Cyclones evened the six-game series at two games apiece. Brooklyn has not won a series in 2021.
