Chacin Shines in Cyclones Debut as Brooklyn Wins 4-1

CONEY ISLAND, NY (August 27, 2021) – Jose Chacin earned his first victory as the Brooklyn Cyclones, the High-A affiliate of the New York Mets, toppled the Aberdeen IronBirds 4-1 Saturday night at Maimonides Park to win the series. INF Luis Gonzalez went 4-for-4 with two runs scored, two doubles, a home run and an RBI to pace the Brooklyn offensive effort.
