2021 Schedule Release: The Hudson Valley Renegades Are Back!

Following a year spent in quarantine the Renegades return to the diamond, for the first time as a New York Yankees affiliate, on May 4th. Starting today and while supplies last, fans can purchase a Renegades 30-ticket flex pack to reserve their place at the Dutch.

Wappingers Falls, NY – The Hudson Valley Renegades, newly minted Class High-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, in conjunction with Major League Baseball, have released their schedule for the 2021 season. The Renegades will begin the season May 4th on the road, and plan on opening the gates to fans for the first time in almost two years at the home opener scheduled for Tuesday May 11th. The Renegades will commence the home portion of their inaugural season of full season baseball with a six-game homestand against old foe Aberdeen IronBirds at Dutchess Stadium.

The Renegades expect to host fans initially at a reduced capacity, subject to local guidelines in place at the time. The team will work closely with Major League Baseball, New York State and Dutchess County officials to determine capacity limits throughout the season and look forward to expanding access as conditions continue to improve. The club is currently engaged with government and healthcare professionals in an effort to finalize social distancing, cleaning, and operational guidelines to provide a safe and comfortable ballpark experience.

In order to guarantee access to tickets for the 2021 season, fans are now able to purchase a 30-Ticket Flex Pack by clicking here. This plan will only be available through March 4th, or as supplies last. Flex Plan holders will receive a priority booking window in order to select their specific games and seats prior to single game tickets going on sale to the public. The date for single-game tickets on sale will be announced in the coming days.

The time when we could welcome the excitement of the players returning to the diamond, our tremendous fans returning to the ballpark, and the familiar sound of cheers following the crack of the bat. It’s been a long time, but we’re happy to finally shout ‘Play Ball’” said Renegades President Steve Gliner.

The 2021 season will reflect Major League Baseball’s commitment to health and safety standards in light of Covid, with reduced travel and guidelines put in place to protect the players, fans, and staff. The Renegades will play a reduced schedule of 120 total games, with 60 to be played at Dutchess Stadium. The season will commence on May 4th and extend through September 19th.
