Inaugural Opening Night for Columbus Professional Baseball set for April 15, 2025, at Synovus Park

In conjunction with Minor League Baseball, the Columbus Professional Baseball Club has announced their home game schedule for the inaugural 2025 Southern League season. The Atlanta Braves Double-A franchise is scheduled to begin their 2025 campaign on the road before opening night at Synovus Park on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.

“Opening night will be a landmark day in the rich history of baseball in Columbus,” said General Manager Pete Laven. “Together with the city of Columbus, we look forward to welcoming fans to the new Synovus Park while showcasing the future stars of the Atlanta Braves.”

The 138-game schedule features 69 home dates, including twelve homestands. Columbus will host the Montgomery Biscuits (May 20 - 25, July 4-6, September 2-7) and Pensacola Blue Wahoos (April 15-20, July 8-13, August 19-24) three times. The Biloxi Shuckers will visit Synovus Park twice during the 2025 season (April 29-May 4, June 24-29) and Birmingham Barons (May 6- May11), Tennessee Smokies (June 10-15), Chattanooga Lookouts (July 22-27) and Rocket City Trash Pandas (August 5-10), will each visit the Fountain City next season.

Other notable dates for the 2025 season include Columbus being home on Easter Sunday (April 20), Mother’s Day (May 11), Father’s Day (June 15) and Independence Day (July 4).
