BOWIE, Md. -- Anderson Feliz drove in a career-high six runs, while the offense erupted for a season-high 18 hits en route to a 13-6 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats in front of 2,383 Wednesday evening at Prince George's Stadium.

BOWIE, Md. -- Anderson Feliz drove in a career-high six runs, while the offense erupted for a season-high 18 hits en route to a 13-6 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats in front of 2,383 Wednesday evening at Prince George's Stadium.

Bowie (52-61) took its first lead of the series in the first inning off RHP Jordan Romano. With two outs, Aderlin Rodriguez sent a towering double to right-center field, beyond the leaping attempt of Andrew Guillotte. Ryan McKenna scored on the 64th RBI of the season for the Baysox first baseman.
A fielding error kept the rally going and Feliz made the Fisher Cats pay with a three-run home run to deep right-center field. The ninth long ball for the second baseman scored Rodriguez and Austin Hays, and put the hosts ahead 4-0 early.
New Hampshire (65-47) cut the lead in half with two runs in the top of the second, but Bowie responded with three runs in the bottom half of the inning. Brett Cumberland launched his first Double-A home run deep to right field to lead off the frame. After a pair of singles, Ryan Mountcastle and Austin Hays each lined RBI singles to left field to complete the five-hit rally and extend the lead to 7-2.
A Cavan Biggio homer brought the guests within three runs at 7-4 in the top of the fifth, but Bowie erupted for three more runs in the bottom half of the fifth inning. Feliz recorded his fourth and fifth RBI of the night on a two-run flared single over the drawn-in infield, scoring Rodriguez and Hays. One batter later, Ademar Rifaela lined a 1-0 single to center field off New Hampshire reliever Andrew Case to give the Baysox double-figure runs.
Rodriguez continued the offensive outburst in the sixth inning, launching a two-run opposite-field home run down the right field line. The 19th home run of the season extended the Baysox lead to 12-4 and gave Rodriguez his team-leading 19th multi-RBI game of the season.
Feliz continued his career night with a RBI single up the middle in the eighth inning to score Craig Gentry. With the hit, Feliz joined Rodriguez, Gentry and Erick Salcedo as the four Bowie batters to record three-hit nights Wednesday.
Defensively, Keegan Akin held a red-hot Fisher Cat offense in check throughout his six innings of work. The lefty earned his 12th win of the season to keep pace atop the league leaders, allowing three earned runs on eight hits while striking out six batters. With the win, Akin has won three straight contests and has allowed three earned runs or less in 17 of his 21 starts this season. Tanner Chleborad and Matthew Grimes combined to allow two runs in the final three innings with four strikeouts from the bullpen.
The Baysox and Fisher Cats wrap up their season series with an 11:05 a.m. start. RHP Dean Kremer takes the mound for the second of two Camp Days at the ballpark. Get tickets at 301-464-4865 or online at baysox.com.
