Acereros: Gana Sultanes con dramático final
Monclova, Coah. (Presa Acereros) 19 de marzo de 2025.- La reacción de los Acereros de Monclova quedó corta en la parte baja de la novena ya que anotaron solo una carrera y dejaron las bases llenas y con drama incluido los Sultanes de Monterrey ganaron el juego de pretemporada 7-6
Monclova, Coah. (Presa Acereros) 19 de marzo de 2025.- La reacción de los Acereros de Monclova quedó corta en la parte baja de la novena ya que anotaron solo una carrera y dejaron las bases llenas y con drama incluido los Sultanes de Monterrey ganaron el juego de pretemporada 7-6 en el estadio Kickapoo Lucky Eagle.
Sultanes tomó ventaja y rompió el empate en el séptimo inning con un rally de cuatro carreras, pero Acereros tuvo una reacción que quedó corta al final, timbraron una carrera en cada uno de los últimos tres innings del juego y lograron reducir la desventaja a una carrera, pero en el fondo del noveno episodio Manuel Partida se encargó de bajar la cortina y preservar el triunfo regio.
SULTANES TOMA VENTAJA.
En la misma primera entrada los visitantes tomaron ventaja anotando la carrera de la quiniela. Con un out Ramiro Peña conectó doblete y llegó hasta la antesala impulsado por sencillo de Donovan Casey, a continuación, Víctor Mendoza elevó de sacrificio al derecho y llevó al plato la primera carrera para Sultanes.
REACCIONA ACEREROS Y LO EMPATA.
Cerrando el primer inning Acereros atacó y logró tener las bases llenas con un out, pues el abridor Carlos Medina regaló sendos pasaportes consecutivos a Danny Amaral, Alado Núñez y Pedro González, lo que dio oportunidad para que Juan Mora empatara el juego al producir con sencillo al jardín derecho; el inning terminó con un rodado para doble play de Daniel Sánchez.
OTRA VEZ CAVERO.
Braulio Cavero conectó su tercer cuadrangular de la pretemporada y fue en el fondo de la segunda entrada. Abiam Cruz inició el inning con sencillo y abrió la puerta para que apareciera Braulio Cavero, quien cazó un lanzamiento al abridor Carlos Medina y lo sacó del parque sobre la barda del jardín derecho, dando ventaja de 3-1 para la Furia Azul.
NADA PARA NADIE.
En la tercera entrada Monterrey aprovechó el descontrol del relevo acerero y timbraron la segunda carrera, con las bases llenas tras pasaportes a Ramiro Peña y Víctor Mendoza, además de un pelotazo a Josh Lester; Christian Villanueva negoció base por bolas para impulsar la segunda carrera del juego. En la cuarta entrada, Deivy Grullón conectó cuadrangular solitario por el derecho e igualó la pizarra a tres carreras.
SÉPTIMO INNING DE CARRERAS.
Fue en la fatídica séptima cuando se rompió el empate a favor de Sultanes al fabricar un rally de cuatro carreras. José Cardona abrió con imparable y anotó desde la inicial con un sencillo de Daniel Castro quien desde la antesala anotó con fly de sacrificio de Víctor Mendoza, Donovan Casey también recibió base y ambos anotaron cuando estaban las bases llenas Roberto Valenzuela los llevó al plato con sencillo remolcador de dos.
En el fondo de la séptima Acereros llenó las bases sin out, tras un doblete de Aldo Núñez, base de Pedro González y sencillo de Juan Mora, Abiam Cruz se encargó de acercar a los locales con un hit productor que marcó la pizarra 7-4 a favor de Monterrey.
QUEDÓ CORTA LA REACCIÓN DE LA FURIA.
La rección de la Furia Azul cayó en la octava baja cuando Mauricio Ledezma conectó sencillo al central llevándose por delante a Elvin Carrillo y en el fondo del noveno inning timbraron una carrera más, Abiam Cruz recibió pelota y Braulio Cavero una base por bolas, Jonathan Ovalle recortó la desventaja con un hit productor de la quinta carrera y tras toque de sacrificio de Elvin Carrillo, el manager regio ordenó base intencional para David Cuestas, llenó las bases y jaló por Manuel Partida del bullpen, quien definió el juego al colgar los últimos dos outs con ponche.
Ganó el juego Erick Rodríguez el labor de una entrada con seis bateadores, tres bases y tres ponches sin recibir carrera. El revés fue de Jesús Jáuregui quien tuvo labor de tres bateadores, regaló una base, aceptó dos ponches y recibió tres carreras. Manuel Partida se apuntó el rescate ponchando a los últimos dos bateadores del juego.
