Reno put on an offensive clinic Saturday night putting up 19 hits in their 20-9 victory over Las Vegas. The win marks the fifth win in a row for the club, a season high. Reno jumped out to a 12-2 lead after three innings and never looked back. Seven different players from the Biggest Little City homered nine different times in the game. The big flies came from Domingo Leyba (2, career high), John Ryan Murphy (2), Abraham Almonte (leadoff), Andy Young (First Triple-A home run), Kevin Cron (26th of the year), Yasmany Tomás (22nd of the year) and Wyatt Mathisen (19th of the year). Domingo Leyba led the way offensively with a 5-for-6 performance with two home runs, three runs scored, and six RBIs. Every Aces starter had at least one run scored and one hit in the game. Right-hander Riley Smith picked up the win in his Triple-A debut tossing 5.2 innings allowing eight runs on 10 hits to go with three strikeouts. But hey, a win is a win. Reno will look for their sixth in a row with Taylor Widener taking the ball in a rare Sunday night game with first pitch slated for 7:05 p.m.

Tomorrow's Matchup

Notes & Information
Leyba's Career Game: Domingo Leyba was 5-for-6 in tonight's ballgame with two home runs, three runs scored, and six RBIs. Leyba had never hit two home runs in a game before tonight. Six RBIs in a game is a new career high, breaking his previous high of five set on May 21st against El Paso. Leyba also set a new career high with five hits in the game. No Aces player has ever had six hits in a single contest.
Runs are Fun: Tonight's 20 run performance was the 13th time this season the Aces have scored double-digit runs in a game. The Aces scored double-digit runs 16 times all of 2018. It is the sixth time in franchise history the Aces put up 20 runs in a game, and the first time they have done it twice in the same season.
Win Streak: Tonight's victory over Las Vegas was the Aces fifth win in a row setting a new win streak high for 2019. The previous high was four coming on 4/25-28 against the Fresno Grizzlies. The highest win streak in 2018 was seven games from July 26-August 2.
Something about the Balls: The most home runs the Aces hit in a single game prior to this season was six, happening twice. Once on 4/28/11 vs. Tacoma and another time on 6/27/18 vs. Salt Lake. Tonight, the Aces hit nine home runs. However, the most home runs in a single game came on May 20, 2019 when the Aces hit 10 at Greater Nevada Field against the Tacoma Rainiers.
