With Winston-Salem (15-12) trailing 3-1 in the fifth inning, Basabe came to the plate with runners on the corners and one out. He launched a 2-1 pitch from Hillcats (12-14) starter Justin Garza (2-1) over the right-field fence to give the Dash a 4-3 lead.
In the eighth, Adolfo crushed his Carolina League-leading sixth home run of the season to dead center to give the Dash an insurance run.
