BILOXI, Miss. -Micker Adolfo ignited a three-run comeback with a bases-clearing double as the Birmingham Barons (2-3) erased an early deficit to earn a 5-3 win in their series finale against the Biloxi Shuckers (3-2) on Monday night at MGM Park.

Adolfo (CWS No. 8 prospect), whose two-out double tied the game at three apiece in the fifth inning, recorded his first three hits of the season in the win.
Luis González (CWS No. 10 prospect) provided the go-ahead base knock with a two-RBI single in the ninth inning, while Mauricio Cabrera (W, 1-0) locked down the victory in his first appearance of the season. The flamethrowing right-hander tossed the final two innings and struck out three.
Left-hander Sean Nolin, whom the Chicago White Sox signed to a minor-league deal over the offseason, battled through five innings and allowed three runs (two earned) in his first start as a member of the Barons. Nolin did not factor into the decision.
Shuckers closer Nate Griep (L, 0-1) suffered the loss.
Barons first baseman Gavin Sheets collected his first hit at the Double-A level with an infield single in the second. The former Wake Forest standout and White Sox No. 18 prospect also played a part in three critical double plays late in the game.
Luis Martinez tossed a pair of scoreless frames with two strikeouts in his Birmingham debut and paved the way for Cabrera to seal the win. The right-hander
worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the sixth with the score level at 3-3 when he induced a 4-6-3 double play.
After the Shuckers threatened with a ninth-inning rally, Cabrera recorded the final out of the game on a soft fly to Blake Rutherford in center field.
