MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (May 29, 2018) - Tyler Alamo's dramatic walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the 10th on Tuesday night guided the Myrtle Beach Pelicans to a 6-2 win over the WInston-Salem Dash from TicketReturn.Com Field at Pelicans Ballpark.
With the new extra-inning rules, Aramis Ademan started the frame on second. Jhonny Pereda was intentionally walked before Wladimir Galindo  walked on four pitches to load the bases. Alamo then blasted a 1-0 pitch off Winston-Salem (28-24) reliever Mike Morrison (4-2) down the left field line to win it for the Pelicans (23-28).

The Birds grabbed the early lead in the first inning on Galindo's RBI single, his third RBI his last two games. After the Dash tied the game with a Yeyson Yrizarri RBI hit in the second, P.J. Higgins gave the Pelicans the lead again with a third-inning RBI double.
Yrizarri then tied the game at 2-2 in the fourth inning when he was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
Higgins was stellar behind home plate, catching three potential basestealers and picking off another.
Out of the bullpen, Casey Bloomquist tossed three scoreless innings to run his consecutive scoreless frames streak to 21.1 innings over his last 11 appearances. Jordan Minch (3-1) fired two scoreless innings to earn the win.
