Arredondo Dazzles in Extra-Inning Defeat
BUIES CREEK, NC -Edgar Arredondo turned perhaps the best starting pitching performance in Down East Wood Ducks history on Wednesday night despite the Woodies 3-2 loss to the Astros. Arredondo completed nine innings and struck out 12 - both career-highs all while not surrendering a walk.

His start was the 22nd in his career (in 45 career starts) in which he did not walk a batter. The right-hander retired the first 12 batters of the game before the Astros got on the board in the fifth with a double, single, and a fielder's choice.
