TODAY'S GAME: The I-Cubs and Dodgers will wrap up their 2018 16-game slate today. Iowa will turn to RHP Jen-Ho Tseng (2-14, 6.35) to continue a three-game winning streak and sweep the series against Oklahoma City. RHP Daniel Corcino (3-3, 3.36) will have the ball for Oklahoma City amidst 2.5 games back of division-leading Colorado Springs in the playoff race.
MULTIPLIED: Four I-Cubs registered multi-hit games in Game 2. Mike Freeman, Jason Vosler, Taylor Davis and Trey Martin each collected two hits to account for eight of the 11 hits on the night. Freeman's two knocks propelled him into second on the team with 25 multi-hit games. Taylor Davis continued to add to his pace by notching his 27th multi-hit game.
SWEET VICTORY: Dakota Mekkes notched his first I-Cubs win while tossing the final frame Game 2. It is his fourth overall win on the season. Mekkes continues to pace all I-Cub arms (5+G) with a 1.48 ERA. The 6-7 righty has allowed just five earned runs over 30.1 innings of work. Of his 24 games with Iowa, Mekkes has made 12 of 13 scoreless outings, surrendering just one earned run over the 16.2 frames.
HAMMERIN' HANNEMANN: Over his last 10 games, Jacob Hannemann has collected seven extra-base hits, including his fifth double in last night's Game 1. During the span, the outfielder has gone 11-for-31 with five runs and four RBI for a .355 average. He has yet to register a walk since Aug. 14, striking out 13 times in the process.
FANNING THE FLAME: Since coming off the DL on Aug. 17, Mike Freeman has collected a hit in 10 of 13 games. The shortstop's 2-for-4 Game 2 was his eighth multi-hit effort in the span. Freeman is hitting .391 (18-for-46) with 10 RBI.  He is second on the team with 51 runs, trailing Mark Zagunis' 63, despite missing almost two months.
AGAINST OKLAHOMA CITY: Iowa and Oklahoma City meet for the final game of 2018 The Dodgers own the season record at 10-5, including a five-game sweep at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in April. The I-Cubs are now 4-3 as the home team, including a rescheduled home game played at Oklahoma City.
PATIENCE PAYS OFF: Over his last eight games, Court has walked nine times and struck out 12. Since Aug. 4 (26 days), the infielder has collected 22 of his 54 walks on the season, striking out just 32 times out of his 147 Ks. He also gathered a 10-game hit-streak during the span and has reached base in 20 of his last 25 games.
WALK-OFF GLORY: Iowa took the walk-off win in Game 2 last night for its eighth walkoff of the season. Jason Vosler delivered the sinking blow with a single to second. Just one year ago, Iowa had just one walkoff win all season coming via a John Andreoli solo shot that broke up a perfect game of a seven-inning contest vs. Colorado Springs. The I-Cubs have been walked off on four time this season.
JUST SNUCK BY: Game 1's 1-0 victory was Iowa's first 1-0 win of the season. The team has dropped three contests 0-1. Only Oklahoma City (2-4) and Nashville (4-1) have played in more games with one combined run scored. Salt Lake and Reno are the only teams in the PCL that have not been on either end of a 1-0 game.
SHORT HOPS: In his first two Triple-A starts, Duncan Robinson has allowed one earned run over 11 innings for a 0.82 ERA...the bullpen combined to throw four scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and a walk by Mekkes between four frames of work...Trey Martin snapped a four-game hitless streak by going 2-for-3 with a run in Game 2.
