Fireworks, block parties, and movie nights have highlighted the summer at Toyota Field, and now the Rocket City Trash Pandas are adding a slew of new events to the calendar.

The cancellation of the 2020 Minor League Baseball season meant there would be no “Mutt Mondays” at the ballpark this year. “Barks and Brews,” a free happy hour on July 31st, steps in as the inaugural dog-friendly Trash Pandas event. There will be designated areas where dogs can go, and owners must sign a waiver prior to entering the ballpark. Food and beverages will be available at designated concession stands. The event will run from 5PM-8PM.

The Trash Pandas Jersey Experience will follow on August 1st and 2nd. Fans will receive an authentic on-field jersey that would have been worn by the players, participate in batting practice on the field, eat a post-practice meal in the SportsMED Stadium Club, and more. The cost is $250 and the deadline to register is July 29th. Contact Gayle Milam at [email protected] to reserve a spot.

On Friday, August 7th, the Back to School Bash will take place at Toyota Field. Admission is $5, and attendees are encouraged to bring donations for a school supply drive. Join us for food and drinks as we celebrate the end of summer before students return to school.

Christian contemporary artists Crowder and Tauren Wells will perform their “Night of Hope” concert on August 8th at 6:30 PM, with tickets starting at $15. To adhere to social distancing practices, seating is available on the field, in the seating bowl, and the SportsMED Stadium Club.

The On-Field Movie Night series continues on August 15th, and this time attendees will have the opportunity to camp out on the field. Spend the night under the stars with your family for $22 per person. The campout will include a movie ticket, popcorn and soda voucher, Sunday morning breakfast, and commemorative camping patch. For those only attending the movie, tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for kids 12 & under.

In accordance with state and county mandates, masks are required at all Toyota Field events.
