Clinton, IA (May 31, 2018) - The Clinton LumberKings moved back into first place in the Western Division with a 5-2 win over the Quad Cities River Bandits on Thursday night at Ashford University Field. The win marks the third consecutive series win for Clinton (30-23) who end the month of April with their 30th win of the season.
Quad Cities (30-24) claimed an early lead against the LumberKings. Ryne Inman pitched for Clinton and surrendered the game's first run in the top of the second inning. A leadoff walk to Jake Adams started the frame and turned into a run on a wild pitch and RBI single by Colton Shaver.
