Barons, BayBears Split Sunday Twin Bill
MOBILE, Ala. - Nick Madrigal delivered five combined hits in the doubleheader as the Birmingham Barons (27-37) split a Sunday doubleheader against the Mobile BayBears (23-37) at Hank Aaron Stadium.

Madrigal, who has delivered a multi-hit effort in all three games since his promotion from Class-A Advanced Winston-Salem on Thursday, tallied three in the opener and two more in the nightcap to help the Barons earn the split.
GAME 1 - Despite three hits apiece from Madrigal and
Mobile scored three times in the third after a pair of scoreless frames to take the lead. The BayBears extended their advantage with another run in the fourth, two in the fifth and broke it open with a four-run sixth.

GAME 2 - Madrigal furthered his impressive day at the plate with two more hits in the nightcap.
The White Sox No. 4 prospect also scored twice and added one RBI as Birmingham emerged with a 7-4 win.
Madrigal's swipe of second marked his 20th stolen base of the season combined between Winston-Salem and Birmingham.
Sheets, meanwhile, holds a .350 clip at the plate with 14 RBI across his past 10 games. The 23-year-old first baseman entered Sunday's twin bill riding a season-high nine-game hit streak, but had it snapped in the opener.
