David Dahl and Ryan McMahon were each just a double away from the cycle as the Isotopes (54-51) defeated the Omaha Storm Chasers (47-56), 9-5, on Thursday at Isotopes Park. Albuquerque is now just half a game behind the first place Salt Lake Bees in the PCL's Pacific Southern Division.

Dahl finished the evening 3-for-4, connecting on his second home run of the season to go along with a single and triple while McMahon ended the night 4-for-5, registering his 10th Triple-A home run. It was the fifth time this season McMahon has recorded at least four hits in a game for Albuquerque.
As a team, the Isotopes connected on four triples, establishing a new season-high and matching their all-time record set in both 2012 and 2009.
Isotopes starter Yency Almonte earned the win in his Triple-A debut. The 23-year-old allowed just two earned runs over his 7.0 innings on the mound. The right-hander struck out six and walked two. Almonte is ranked as the Rockies 10th best prospect by MLB.com.
Noel Cuevas finished the night 0-for-3 with a walk, snapping his 33 home game hitting streak. The streak was the longest in the PCL in a decade.
The Isotopes and Storm Chasers conclude their four-game set Friday night from Isotopes Park when Chad Bettis will get the start for Albuquerque. The right-hander is making his second rehab appearance for the Isotopes as he works his way back to the Major Leagues after recovering from chemotherapy. First pitch from Isotopes Park is set for 7:05 p.m.
