MONTGOMERY, Ala. (April 30, 2018) - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, had runners in scoring position in three innings but failed to score, falling 1-0 to the Montgomery Biscuits in the series finale Monday at Riverwalk Stadium.
The BayBears (12-12) had two baserunners aboard with one out in the first, a runner on second with one out in the seventh, and two on with two out in the eighth. However, Mobile went 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position and left seven men stranded.
Five Biscuits pitchers combined to shut out the BayBears.
