MOBILE, Ala. (May 8, 2019) - After a shutout win Tuesday, the Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, were handed a 7-1 loss by the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Wednesday night at Hank Aaron Stadium.
The BayBears (14-18) had seven hits in the game but left nine runners on base. Mobile went 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position.
The lone run for the BayBears came in the bottom of the seventh. Trailing 6-0,
The Jumbo Shrimp plated six runs in a three-inning span from the third through the fifth.
