MONTGOMERY, Ala. (April 29, 2018) - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, scored five runs in the top of the eighth inning and defeated the Montgomery Biscuits 7-5 Sunday afternoon at Riverwalk Stadium.
After Montgomery (8-16) plated a trio of runs in the seventh to take a 5-2 lead, the BayBears sent 11 batters to the plate in the eighth.
Ward recorded his team-high 10th multi-hit game of the season, going 2-for-5. He has reached base safely in 13 straight games. Moyer drove in a pair of runs and leads the league with 19 RBIs.
