JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (May 18, 2018) - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, swept Friday's doubleheader with 4-2 and 3-1 wins over the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
GAME ONE:
Trailing 2-0 in the sixth inning, the BayBears plated four runs over the final two frames.
GAME TWO:
The BayBears (21-20) plated runs in each of the first two frames to jump out to an early 2-0 lead.
Mobile's pitching staff only allowed one run on two hits in game two.
