PENSACOLA, Fla. (July 25, 2019) - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, dropped both games of Thursday's doubleheader to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos 2-1 and 3-2 at Blue Wahoos Stadium.
GAME ONE:
The BayBears plated a run in the top of the seventh but left the tying run stranded on second base.
GAME TWO:
For the sixth time on the eight-game losing streak, the BayBears (40-61 overall, 13-20 second half) got on the board first. However, a two-run fifth inning was not enough, as Pensacola (53-50, 15-18) came back with two in the bottom of the fifth and walked off in the seventh. It was the second walk-off win of the series for the Blue Wahoos.
